I ordered this backpack to use to haul my swim gear to the Y. It holds my swimsuit, towel, shower stuff, goggles, cap, deodorant, body powder, wallet, keys, water bottle all very nicely. The straps are a little bit thin and I wouldn't suggest trying to use this bag as a day-pack for hiking or amusement park visits. I bought the light gray with white zippers and rose gold hardware, and it's actually a lot prettier than I thought it would be...even received a couple of compliments on my bag.
