Company issued beanies werent doing it for me at work. You know the type. Thin, stretchy, does nothing to keep your head warm on cold nights; especially the ears. This one is soft and thick and has another layer of comfort inside. It's really quite comfy and has been great at keeping my noggin toasty. I didn't expect much given how inexpensive it is, but I'd say it's worth it
