Very warm for any climate

The warmest, most comfortable, and BEST toboggan/hat I've ever put on my head. I'm not easily impressed by much, but the Mutkis 30% Merino beanie is impressive.....I can almost sleep in it.

My ears used to complain a lot in winter but no more. This is warm enough to be too warm to wear indoors. Don't expect it to be waterproof, BUT it doesn't immediately get soaked in light rain. I will probably misplace it eventually and need a new one, and I will buy another one.

On these cold winter morning when I walk my dog this beanie keeps my head nice and warm. Love the wool exterior but the best part is the 3M lining. That's what really insulates and keeps the heat in.
