The cooperative style of this game makes it great for any group of players. The excitement never stops because there is constantly threats of additional outbreaks. The game can be played in an hour or so which makes it a great game for any occasion.

You should be aware that there is a misprint in the new edition. Make sure your board shows a connection between Lagos and Sao Paulo. If it does not not, Z-Man games has been proactive in replacing the misprinted boards if you contact them. Worst case scenario - draw it in. Either way, this is a great game and worth picking up.

The rules are well done and tight, the production is the typical high Z man standard, and the cooperative play is excellent. Loosing will happen, there are plenty of online resources to help you make sure you are playing correctly. It takes some practice and the difficulty can be adjusted as your ability improves. An outstanding game that sets a benchmark for co-op games.

Involves a lot of thinking with different levels of difficulty and builds working together. It is a challenge and involves teamwork to win. Will be one of my favorites!

Pandemic is a co-operative game in which you and the other players are CDC experts trying to stop five viral plagues from spreading across the globe. The game was easy to learn and easy to teach (my 12 year old loves it, my 6 year old "gets it" too) and it plays in less than an hour. We have yet to beat the game on "easy" after several plays but no one is tired of playing it yet so I imagine we will save the world soon as we have all gotten better at the strategy of the game. I got this at a great price during the holidays and picked up from my local store. Glad to see this got played more during our Holiday break than the new video game did :)
