I absolutely love that this is a cooperative game. Even first graders can learn the rules by watching a few rounds. We purchased the iOS version to play on the iPad, but the board game version is way better.

My family plays Risk from time to time at the holidays but we'd gotten tired of a) people storming off b) games lasting for hours c) one gloating obnoxious victor. Picked this up and were blown away. We were shocked at how much fun it is the work TOGETHER to win against a board game (and we are competitive people)! The rules sound ridiculously complicated at first but once you kick off a game and see how the diseases spread, get comfortable with the ways for "stuff" to hit the fan, and learn your character's "powers" the game becomes awesome!

This is a really fun game to play. For us, it usually takes about 1 hour to play with setup, etc. We are constantly trying to figure out what to do next and how to win. I definitely would recommend this game to anyone. We have played several games, and I've never had so much fun winning AND losing.

The base game for pandemic offers up some challenge while introducing new players to games Beyond monopoly. The fact that is is co-operative let you be able to explain thought processes while still trying to help win as a group!

Great game with a challenging premise. This is the first cooperative game we bought and we like it. Keeps us wanting to play over and over again until we beat it!!

My husband and I have played this game countless times in the last week since we bought it. It's tough to beat at first and there are many different strategies, but it's a lot of fun win or lose.
