Broke after 1.5 uses

For starters the instructions on how to close this tent are unclear. After watching a video posted by another user several times I was FINALLY able to get it to close the first time I used it. The second time I tried to fold it back up the little metal connector thingy broke! I don’t recommend this tent unless it’s for a 1 time use or you never plan to fold it back up… Now I got a big ass BROKEN tent sitting in my living room 😒

Poles Broke after 9 months

Bought this tent as a xmas gift for my son in 2021. Used it primarily in our house, maybe set it up and took it down a couple dozen times. The connector on one of the loop poles seperated, and another loop pole flat broke. I expected to get more use out of a tent rated this high before this kind of thing happened to it--especially given it was used almost exclusively indoors!

Broken first use but seems good if not broken

Received this tent but did not open for a few months until first use. Two rods were broken as seen in the pictures. Only tent so had to use for one night of camping in the smoky mountains and it performed surprisingly well despite being broken the tent was very cozy for an averaged size male and female to sleep with sleeping mat and sleeping bags. Was extremely easy to set up. Body will touch the edges but ok unless it’s raining and then you would want an extra tarp or to have it under a shelter. Sad that it broke because I cannot fold it back up or use it in the future because of that. Would love to have this one replaced but cannot find contact information for the company.

Not easy, and broke after 1 use.

I thought this would be great for a cross country road trip with my son for 3 weeks, pop up easy right?! Wrong!!! Well, it does pop up easily, it’s the folding back up that is the hard part. I had to watch an YouTube video every time! (No I’m not stupid or incapable, even the you tubers had a hard time, look it up if you don’t believe me lol) anyway, I used it once in my living room as a fort camp out and it took me 6 try’s to fold it. Then I thought, ok I got it. Skip ahead to the road trio, drive 12 hours, set up the tent, sleep, nice and cozy! Wake up and get packed up....here we go again! And what do you know, it SNAPPED!!!! What in the $55 3 week tent camping trip am I supposed to do now!!??? Luckily Walmart pick up to the rescue and I’ll have one in an hour. So honestly, before you buy one or before you plan a trip, make sure to fold it up and down and make sure you can do it, or if it breaks as mine did that you’re home to send it back. Because now, I’m 800 miles from home with a broken pop up that won’t fold back up (because it’s broken) or fit in my compact car so I have to throw it away and now I won’t be able to get a refund. So I basically just spend over $100 to put in the trash. Pissed!
