This dress really is deserving of all the stellar reviews. It's the perfect all-occasion, figure forgiving, comfortable, yet chic and sexy little black dress that every woman needs in her closet! For reference, I am 5'8," 152 lbs and a 38C bra and I ordered this dress in black, size L. In most shirts I wear size medium and in most jeans I wear a 10L. I have a pretty traditional shape to my frame as far as being balanced proportions in shoulders/waist/hips/etc. However, I do have a bit of a tummy pooch at the moment (what can I say, crunches aren't my favorite pastime). This dress minimizes that waist issue quite beautifully as it's slightly gathered and tailored at the waist, but without being too tight or drawing undo attention to the area (plus you can never go wrong with figure flattering black). I ordered this dress in medium initially and while it technically did fit, it was a tad more snug than I liked, so I reordered it in large and that was absolutely perfect! The large still clung to my figure, but gave a little more breathing room and was not too big or loose by any means. I love the length of this dress because at my height (5'8") often skirts and dresses don't go past my knees and this one does. I'm a little self conscious about my knees as my legs aren't in peak condition right now, so this dress covers them perfectly without being too long or cutting my frame in a visually awkward way. The fabric is nice and stretchy, but not thin or at all see-thru (in fact it feels quite high quality and sturdy, yet not overly thick/hot), so it is more forgiving on the figure, offers a little shaping support, and doesn't show every little flaw or "jiggle." Although I'd still recommend wearing some shape-wear underneath if you have a few imperfections you'd like to minimize. On a side note, I tried wearing this with both a nude and a black sexy ankle strap heel and personally I think it looks sharpest with the black heels, but of course that's up to personal taste... just throwing it out there if you're shopping for a pair of shoes to go with it. :) All in all I could not be happier with this purchase, let alone the great price! Fantastic dress!

I am usually a US 6/8 medium and I ordered a large in black. It fits quite well, and I love the details in the design. Quite flattering. I will be ordering more.

Hands down one of the best dresses I have ever purchased! Fit perfectly and made me look incredible. I am a size 6 hourglass shape. No complaints at all - I loved the way it sits on my shoulders to accentuate them.

Pros: I bought this dress in burgundy for Valentine's day, and it exceeded expectations! It is not quite a burgundy but more of a deep red - the product picture shown is accurate. It definitely is form fitting, but it hugs your curves in a very flattering way (even though I don't have much!), makes your butt look fantastic, and has some stretch so it holds you in but still remains comfortable. The ruching at the waist is not only pretty but provides a bit of coverage for the belly, which is great after going out to dinner and eating a full meal! I loved the asymmetrical neckline, as it highlights your collarbones in a lovely way. Cons: The shoulder/strap area is a bit large, which worked for me because I have broad shoulders, but I could see it being too large on someone with petite shoulders. The stitching at the bottom of the dress isn't perfect, like the tension on the machine was too loose for the top thread, and I could see it getting loose after several washes. It's not noticeable at all when wearing the dress, though. The fabric also came wrinkled in its package, but I was able to iron the dress on low. The tag also says that the dress is not machine washable, though I feel like it could hold up to a gentle cycle or handwashing. Conclusion: All in all, this was a fantastic dress for the price and made me feel very sexy and confident when wearing it. I am 5'5" and 125 lbs, and the small fit me perfectly with the dress hitting just below my knees.

I bought 2 of these for a summer "tropical chic" party. I was impressed by the fabric, stretchy and thick. It would look great on anyone. They style hugs the body and accentuates the waist. Need to wear good, line free, support undergarments, because the dress does hug the body. The only down size is... the darts are high, if you are busty you may want to buy up a size.

I really love how the dress hugs the body. Very sexy. The material is somewhat thick and has great elasticity.
