I just received these lights so all I can comment on at this point is that the plastic ground spike was missing for one of the lights. Pretty poor quality control.

I bought a second order of these after buying one last September. This time 2 of the 4 torches don't work. I went back and forth with the seller who kept asking me to try different things. When I responded I had tried all of those and the 2 simply do not work I got no further response. I am not happy and want the 2 replaced or I'll just send them all back.

The plastic stakes are so cheap I broke one putting it in the ground the first time I used them. I can’t speak to their longevity...but very disappointed that they broke so easily. No extra stakes are provided either.... Cannot attest to the longevity as I have only had them a few months now. At least it looks pretty....

Out of the box, only three of the four mini-torches worked. The fourth one fizzled for about five minutes, then went completely dead. In the picture, you can see the fourth one at the end, dark and dead. The other three worked fine, looked cute, so I gave two stars. It's an interesting light concept, but buy from a seller that does better quality control than TomCare. For this price, all of the lights should work longer than five minutes.

The lights themselves are very nice. The problem is they come with cheap and flimsy plastic poles. If you bought them for the 43" height forget about it. They will constantly lean & look like they are falling over. Poles also break very easily trying to get them in the ground. For the price of these they should come with metal poles & then they would be 5-stars.

I purchased these because of the great reviews & hoped that I wouldn't get a bad batch like some of the negative reviewers. The lights looked absolutely beautiful, easy to assemble and sturdy. We have a very small backyard & I can tell you that these lights are great for decoration but they don't give out much light. Definitely would not be able to read a book with one of these next to your chair like I saw in some pictures from another reviewer. Maybe I got a bad batch, who knows. One light went out 2weeks after purchase & I live in Arizona. I returned them as I did not want to wait for the rest to go bad past my return window.
