Bought these for my folks ending up buying more for myself. So far they are very sturdy the solar panel is built in and the switch is built in so well for water proofing it’s a little hard to see. They come on and charge all day and come on again at night. They look very real. My neighbors called at 2am because they thought we left a torch burning in the yard. So far a great product. We shall see when I have to replace the battery.

Bought these to go along the back of my newly-refurbished pool deck. They honestly look like real flames and the color is more realistic than some I bought last year (different brand). The only minor problem is that the stems are a bit bendy and where they attach to the stakes, they could do with a bit more plastic going up into the stems to make them more secure. However, they've held up to some strong wind with only minor shifting. These lights come on at dusk and are still going strong well into the night.

I put these up on my patio deck to add some ambience at night. I am impressed with not only on the brightness but also on the very realistic flame appearance. I charged for about 2 days before 1st use as suggested, then was rewarded with some beautiful effects all through the evening until daybreak. My biggest concern is the suggested life span of these was stated in the manual at 3 years. I see no way to access the battery, so apparently it is not replaceable.

This style of flickering torch solar lights look beautiful & elegant. I purchased these stakes torch lights from 3 different companies on Amazon. And the ones from TomCare are the best because they stay on the longest. we are on the east coast and in the middle of winter/gloomy cloudy days but in spite of this the TomC lights last ~7hours vs the other which last ~ 4-5hrs. The color of the flame is closer to a real fire- more orange vs the others which have yellow flames- very pretty. We recently received a lot of snow but that did not seem to impact these outdoor lights, so the quality seems to be good. Otherwise these are similar to others I purchased in design and use. They are easy to assemble. FYI don’t really provide any warmth.

The media could not be loaded. I had ordered another brand of these lights from Amazon and they wouldn’t stay lit even after a full charge. I returned them and bought these and love them! They came with poles that were quite tall, but they were in multiple sections so you could make them whatever height you needed. They were super easy to assemble and worked flawlessly. Highly recommend if you are looking for the “flame” type solar lights.

The solar panels on these are great - all of mine are in locations that get some direct sunlight but are heavily shaded during much of the day. Yet they reliably all come on after sunset and go all night long. Impressive! Only drawback is the plastic material of which they are made. You can’t drive them directly into hard soil - they would break. Either put them in soft soil or use something to make a hole. Anyway, I love these and will buy more solar products from them!

I bought these as we were fixing up our backyard. I didn't know what to expect, and my wife was skeptical, but they have been amazing. They were easy to install. They give off a nice, warm ambient light. Enough that you dont run into things, but you can still see the stars. The nice orange flicker feels organic and is much nicer than the sterile white lights our neighbors have. So good I bought a second set! Perfect for around the hot tub. Can be easily turned off if needed.

I've had these for a little over a month now. The only thing I didn't like about these, are that they are somewhat shorter than I wanted and didn't work for my original intended purpose. However, I made do, and used them elsewhere. And, they are just beautiful! They are so bright and vibrant. I love them and I've had many compliments! Will definitely buy again and will definitely (and have) recommend to others! Just make sure you check the length/height to make sure they are what you need!

Too early to tell about longevity but If they are anything like our older lights (from a different manufacturer) it will definitely be worth the cost of purchasing them. I bought 2 different lights that were made with less LED lights (96, I think) and they look good. These lights are made with 99 and there is a noticeable difference between them. The older lights have a much more orange flame color and these 99 LEDs have a whiter less orange color. These look more realistic I my opinion. I have mixed 2 of each together and neither stand out much. These 99 LED lights are worth the purchase and I’d recommend.

I bought a set of these at a local hardware store 4years ago (still going strong) and wanted to add as we landscaped. I tried some less expensive brands at first, that was a mistake and money wasted. The others did not last through the night, were not as bright and the solar cells degraded within a few months. This is the brand you want. The flame is yellow-orange (not red like some are), the flickering is realistic and bright and they work GREAT even if placed in a shady spot. I will be adding more. And I also have a couple of their lanterns, they perform just as well.
