You wear eye protection and gloves when using ANY grinder of any kind. Don't have time or desire to help folks who don't have brains enough to use powerful tools safely. This not my first rodeo...I have purchased at least 2 dozen angle grinders over the years This is a barrel type grinder. That is unusual for this powerful type of grinder. They tend to be shorter in length and have awkward switching systems. This grinder has an paddle switch that is better than most but still takes a bit of practice. Most grinder of this power level have long tails with trigger switches. This allows you to control the head better because you have more leverage. Girth of the tool seems to be bigger than others of this style, small hands beware. No top handle screw tap for the handle. Makes using a cut off blade awkward. Very powerful motor. Very high quality grinding wheel guards in two sizes. Biggest and nicest blade wrench I have seen. The carrying case is much nicer than the photo represents. I lot of grinder for the money. Reliability unknown but feels like a good tool that is well made. A lot of tool for the money.
