The media could not be loaded. It heats well. Size is perfect, like what a real fireplace might be. Top doesn't get hot to the touch, but the front vent does so careful around kids. Flame can be used when heat is off. Loving the ambience it gives to a room. Does have a very quiet low hum, only when heater is on. But very quiet, won't hear it over a TV. I have not really heard any cackle sounds that a natural fire gives. So if that's what you want, you may not want this. Overall happy! I definitely debated between multiple faux fireplaces. Super glad I went with this one.

It looks great . The heat is on it looks real . Gives out just enough heat to make you comfortable not too hot . Portable too . The temperature controlled heat setting and quiet fan that blows very nicely .
