Great charger. Has a really nice look with the Gears 5 Controller. The base is well weighted so the controller won't tip out. It has a rubberized bottom so it won't slide around. Comes with a code for a supply drop in Gears 5. The battery life lasts longer then the charge & play kit Microsoft makes. Would buy this product again for my other controllers.

If you have the limited edition Sea of Thieves controller this is the obvious companion. Not only does it recharge but it beautifully displayes your controller in all of it’s glow in the dark awesomeness.The cool unicorn narwhal battery cover is even reproduced, but I’d recommend keeping the old one in your original box incase you want to switch back.Set up is super easy just pop off the battery cover, remove batteries, pop in rechargible battery pack, instal new cover and charge until completion.Even if you don’t have the Sea of Thieves controller any one will still look great displaying your pirate pride.#bemorepirate

I like that the color scheme and feel are just like the Kait controller. I’m a huge gears fan so this is a must. Nice to have a stand for making the controller look good and it is always charged!

The charging base looks great in person and uses colors that perfectly match the controller. In addition to the base itself, I was happy to see that it came with a six-foot power cable, a rechargeable battery pack, and a custom battery cover that incorporated some of Samurai's emblem. I also appreciated that the stand has a battery charge indicator that glows red when charging and white when the controller is fully charged.Although slightly more expensive than I would usually spend on a battery pack and charging base, I can honestly say that it was completely worth the money! My only critique is that the power cable feels a little thin and delicate, but I really don't think it's going to be a problem.

First and foremost, I don't play Gears. but I love the design and its exclusivity. I purchased the gears Limited Edition console and have the controller. So I see this charging station and while it does appear expensive for charging one controller. I just had to have it for the design and intriguing function. This design function is what I believe should be used for all controllers. You simply put the controller on it and whammo, it starts charging. No fuss trying to adjust controller or pressing down. This unit works great! The charge is great! It looks great to me and I'll probably buy another for my scorpio edition controller. yes, there is a scorpio edition charging base--but, it sure doesn't look as good as this gears edition. If I could, I would give this Gears charging stand 10 stars!

I preordered this charging stand to go with the matching controller I bought for my sister. It was a LONG wait. So long, in fact, I was really starting to worry if it was going to come at all. But when it finally showed up I was really happy with it.To be clear: this is a VERY expensive stand and charger. It’s obviously not for everyone but it’s the perfect accessory to display your fancy limited edition controller. The color and material is a flawless match to the controller and the design perfectly cradles the controller so it can be admired when not in use. There seems to be a weight placed inside the base to make it more stable which is a really nice touch. I was so satisfied with this one I couldn’t help buying the Cyberpunk version to go with my limited edition console and controller. I might just pick up a black one to go with my Elite Series 1 controller as well.

This is a beautiful device. Most "gamer" electronics are gaudy and way over the top (I don't need rainbow, RGB, flashlights blasting out of every crease, surface and hole at all times). I'm thoroughly impressed that there's a matching charging stand specific to one special edition Xbox One game controller. Wow. My understanding is that Microsoft made a deal with this company to create matching charging stands with their controllers. I wish all consumer electronic companies treated all their products like their own art form. Microsoft doesn't always get it right, but they know how to make a controller. Usability of this controller for PC gaming - that's for a different review.

I really like the look of this controller. I love the green color. My only complaint is the charger. I had to put something in behind the battery to push it out a tiny bit to allow it to charge while sitting on the charger.

Works perfectly. Simply put in the included battery, snap on the battery cover, and set the controller on top of the stand. Charges well, lasts as long as I've ever played in one time (at least 8 hours).It's not made by Microsoft, but is a licensed accessory and it is every bit the high level of quality I expect from Microsoft. It's a solid, heavy stand. Not cheap feeling at all.Small complaint, I ordered an Orange custom controller through Xbox Design Labs. So I wanted an orange charging stand. But this ORANGE stand comes with a black battery cover. Ok... why, exactly? When I contacted Controller Gear to see if it was a mistake, they said "the battery cover is meant to coordinate with the suggested controller color". Except the controller paired with this orange stand on their website is... army green. Then WHY does it come with a black cover?

 I bought a controller charging station from controller gear before and it was just how I expected, but when I got a Xbox series X controller I found out the locks were different so I had to buy a new one, and it works well, it looks nice, it works nice, I would recommend it. I bought my first one, the sports edition white one a little over a year ago and it still works very well, it charges the battery in around 1-4 hours to max. So I highly recommend this for people who are trying to save money instead of buying more batteries.
