This model has recommended by the school. It appears to be doing a great job and has long battery life, considering my daughter isn't only using it for at home schooling but she's also getting plenty of battery for web surfing after school is out. It's light enough weight that it isn't a hassleto carry and was basically a plug in and go to start up when we 1st received it.

Very new to this purchase. Still a bit confused if one should/should not purchase malware. I'm told with OS operating system not necessary, others saying it is. I like the compactness and I'm really only using when traveling to retrieve email and some web surfing.
