When works looks nice. But lights only stay on briefly; maybe about 1 hour or so. Once someone walks under it once, it stops working for the rest of the night, but is bright that one time. I have them is several different locations and not one of them stay on. some time they never come on at all. So disappointed. They are around my house and garage and the same issues for each of them.

I had one half dead out of the box. The rest charged and ran great for about 2 weeks. After that, they all quit working one by one. Took about a month and none worked anymore. I live in Texas, and they get plenty of direct sun.

These would be great if they stayed "on" day to day. None of the modes carry over to the following day so if you don't physically go hit the button each day they won't come back on. I've tried it with all 3 modes several times and same result. These would be good for camping or something where you will be able to interact with them each day. If you're expecting something that you can set and walk away, think again.

Updating: motion sensor doesn’t seem to work right consistently. Lights are very compact, bright, and easy to install but the motion sensor feature doesn’t work well. The light usually stays on all the time regardless of the mode it’s in, or when it sometimes does turn off, it just comes right back on within a few seconds even if nothing is around it. Tried setting the light up in a dark bathroom and testing the different modes and same results.

i dunno....its not that bright. my driveway is about 35ft long. I know its not going to light up that entire area. But I tried standing 10ft (yes I measured) and it did not detect me. Car drives by out on the road.....35ft away.....baam, turns on. but only lights up a small area. And its dim on top of that. I charged it for a full day before using. I might have gotta enough light to light up a 10ft radius around the light. that is with it hung up about 8ft high. Any higher than that, and you get light around 6-7ft area. These things suck in my opinion. The motion detection is just randomly.....decent? I wasted 30 bucks on these things, go find another product if you need bright lights.

I have been using them along with other brand solar lights for a week now. Someone of them work very well and stay lit until the morning like 3-4Am after the sunset. But some of the lights goes off quickly where there is no sun. So basically they need sun at all times directly on the panel. If they are located under a shaded roof etc where there is no direct sunlight then they will go off quickly because they didn’t charged well. For the past couple of days its been raining and its cloudy so all my lights have gotten weak, all the solar lights from different sellers as well. So idk how i feel about spending about 100+$ on these lights... idk yet if i wanna keep them or return. It is raining heavily for the past few days so i also have to see if they withstand heavy rains or get water damaged. I will have to update soon!

This worked great... for two weeks. I loved this light, used it on mode 2 which is low light and then bright light if motion is detected. Even on low light it is quite bright. But about a week ago I noticed light was not on- went out and it was on mode 1( motion only) thought maybe a squirrel pressed the button running along the fence ( button is on front of light which I liked because it made it easy to switch modes without having to remove the whole light from where it is mounted) next night same thing-and every night since. It seems to switch itself from mode 2 to mode 1 on its own at some point late during the night or the next day. This defeats the purpose as everynight I have to go out in the dark to turn the light on. ( I have several motion sensor solar lights and was looking for something with a constant on light) I am disappointed because I really liked this light and its features and was planning to order 3 more. Not sure if this is a defective light or if anyone else is having this issue but of course I now cannot return it as I threw out the packaging. I should note this sits in full Florida sun for most of the day so I dont thinknits an issue of not recharging enough.

I am changing my review up to 5 stars, because I solved the problem of being to move them around. You put string thru the holes and you can hang them on tree branches or anywhere. And you can prop them up inside a plant pot and set them on the top of your vehicle, or even put them on your boat. I am buying some more, for my brother's boat, for security reasons. These are great if you want them on a wall, but if you have a very large property, and want to move them around, you CANNOT set them on their base.A re-design of these great units would be even better!Or a choice for ones with a base to set them upon a driveway, a truck, a chair, anything! (The MrBeams motion detector ones, you can move them anywhere. I have them in our sheds, in an unlighted room, in the cellar, the attic. But those arent solar, need D batteries.)Sadly, mine have stopped staying on all night, they shut off randomly, one stays on about a minute, and the other one has quit altogether. I am afraid they are not waterproof, or something which made them cease working. My husband got them back working again, heaven knows what he did, but they are fine now. Not as bright as they were when new.UPDATE, I bought some more, 2 are working after a year, and the other 2 failed after about 3 months. The original ones I bought lasted for about 3 years, but the new ones are inferior. My neighbor bought some of a different kind, and they are in the process of failing too, they blink on and off, and are too sensitive. Then they quit. They look like these, but probably a different manufacturer, of course they copy each other. So maybe I will buy some more, and if they last a year, goodie, but if they dont, then that's that.I wanted to put a couple on my brother's boat, so if anybody tried to come aboard at night, they would get a light right in the face, but I think the wind whistling thru the rigging on the mast, would trigger them and other boats with people living aboard, would object.

The light is bright but unfortunately half did joy home charge and out of the 3 that did only 1 lasted for full hours advertised the other 2 died after 4 hours. Wish it had worked.
