Usage and Weight Limit:
For babies up to 20 lbs. Discontinue use when baby begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached the weight limit.

Product Care:
The BassiNest base should be cleaned regularly by using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. Do not use bleach. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse clean with water. Allow to dry completely before use.
Care for pad:
Cover: Remove cover. Wash before use. Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Wash separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Foam core:
Spot clean only. Do not submerge in water. Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Mesh sides:
Remove mesh from BassiNest. Machine wash cold with like colors, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Safety Reminder:
Detachable nest should ONLY be used while baby is awake and supervised. Baby should not sleep in nest when detached from base or be left unattended. Do not detach nest or move it around the house while baby is inside. When detached, nest should ONLY be used on the floor. Do not use on raised or unlevel surfaces.
Discontinue use of this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 20lbs, whichever comes first.
Always place your baby on their back for sleep. Never use soft bedding such as loose blankets, bumpers, pillows, and positioners in the BassiNest. The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests the use of wearable blankets to keep your baby warm.

I am currently expecting my second, and since this will be my last I figured I would try an upgrade on the bassinet. I am 8 months pregnant and I was able to put this together myself. I did have to pull up the instruction video which made it way smoother and quicker, as I got stumped connecting the side railings together. Do not worry about this tipping over. The 4 feet are very long and heavy metal, as well as the swivel base. So far it swivels very smoothly and adjust to my bed smoothly as well. I will be purchasing the newborn insert because it is a pretty big bassinet. I am pleased with the Halo Swivel Bassinet so far! :)
My baby is currently 4 days old and, unlike my other children, slept really well in the bassinet at the hospital, so I decided to invest in one the day I was released. After seeing what was in stock at target, I decided on this one. And let me say this…. If you had a c-section, THIS IS A MUST!!! It provided the comfort of having the baby right beside you, but without the risks that come with cosleeping and allows for easy access to the baby without having to constantly get up, which is so necessary after a c-section. I could not be happier with this purchase!!
I absolutely loved this thing! I loved that I could just lean over and the side would go down and pop back up when I moved away. My baby slept in this from the first day we were home till about 4 months. The one drawback is the feet at the bottom come out pretty far and it’s not easy to transport but, those things weren’t important to me.
I purchase the halo hammock insert with this item. This was the only thing my baby could comfortably sleep in without any worry or rolling over. The swivel function is amazing for any angle and adjustable height made it very convenient with bedside. Setup was a little bit difficult.
It is a bit pricey but it was definitely worth it for our family. It’s convenient to have right next to our bed for night feedings and to check on baby without having to get out of the bed.
We’ve only been home a few days, but I am already so in love with this bassinet and wishing we’d gotten one with our first rather than waiting until baby #2! The ability to move it towards and away the recliner I’ve set up camp in and use the lowering side bar to grab him is so amazing. When we move it to the bedroom it’ll be great next to the bed as well. Incredibly sturdy as well - our almost 30 pound 22 month old snuck into it when we first set up a few weeks ago and while we definitely didn’t plan on it, we were so relieved it held up to his surprise use. Worth every penny.
