I expected little and have received much. The resolution, as others have noted, is very nice for movies, photos, etc. and the battery life is better than my iPhone12pro's. Touch screen leaves a lot to be desired, but for the price and “portable entertainment” design, it is exactly what I wanted for planes and trains. The expandable micro SD is yet to be tested. So far it’s been a very good $44 (on sale) investment—with lock ads.
