It’s your average toilet seat for training, but best used for girls. The splash guard attachment (the whole reason I bought this one) is totally worthless as it easily gets knocked off into the toilet by a bored boy. If you’re looking to buy a seat for your boy, buy one with a fixed undetachable splash guard

It does what it needs to do, helps our toddler get on the toilet. The design is not the best, the pee guard for boys falls in the toilet with the lightest touch so we ended up super gluing it. Without it he pees everywhere. I’d probably try a different one if I could but this one will do.

This is not designed for boys. The splash guard pops off and falls in toilet with the slightest movement. Pee also goes between the seats. Very disappointed and I will have to buy another one that is more efficient.

This product comes with a removable pee protector for boys that falls off into the toilet the second anything touches it and is impossible to put back on with a toddler sitting down

It doesn’t fit all toilets very well. If you have the oblong oval toilets, it doesn’t lay as nicely on those. The step is almost unusable because of the odd oval shape of the toilet. The step is too far underneath the toilet bowl that it doesn’t give enough step room to climb into the seat. If your toilet is high, it also makes it harder for the seat to lay flat on the toilet. It’s like it needs to be a tad bit taller. I had one little piece break off from the step area. What looked like a little cylinder peg. That was something that cracked off from the first step onto the little step. I came close to returning it but my son is still finding it useful, so I kept it.

We got the potty training seat for our son. He loves to use it and makes him more independent. Easy to put together. We put the biggest feet on it but the seat was almost to small for the toliet. Also. The splash guard also falls off all the time if you barely bump it. Not the greatest seat for little boys. Wish it was built in the seat like other competitors seats.

I really want to love this seat, but I only like it due to the fact that the seat/opening is too large for my toddlers back side. The toilet seat part has pretty much the same size seat opening as the normal toilet, which makes my toddler feel insecure about sitting on it without feeling like he’s going to “fall in” the potty. I’ll keep this for when he gets bigger, but will be looking for a training toilet with a smaller seat opening to help him fit his small bottom and feel secure while trying to potty train.

Purchased for our 2 yr old granddaughter while visiting us. Very sturdy for her sz. It fit well between the toilet & wall when folded. Child was able to unfold & place on toilet correctly & use. No potty accidents! Must watch to avoid pinching little fingers between potty training seat & toilet wile string on it. Easy clean.

I wanted to REAAALLLLLLY love this seat. I ordered it about a month ago and my son (age 3) has been using it. However, the splash guard easily falls off and goes *plop* into the toilet. It's a pain to fish it out and clean it every time he decides to fiddle with it. Otherwise, this is great, I'd imagine, for girls. And it is easy to put together and has a fun design, so praise for that.Unfortunately, I'll be returning due to the flaw with the splash guard.

Plastic is weaker than expected so not terribly sturdy. Lots of assembly and parts don't fit together so well. Doesn't encourage grandson to want to stand. Putting the cup on to catch his urine makes the seat too tall for him to stand and pee and he can't scoot over it to sit down, either. It is very colorful.
