I have potty trained many children through my life time.. nieces and nephew.. friends children.. my own children and now my grandchildren... This is the best thing I have ever used.. I used the original potty chairs... then the flush able sounding ones.. even an Elmo one that talks.. but this one is the best one to use.. the little seat fits right on your seat. but the kids think they're a big girl or boy to climb the latter and sit on the "big" potty! I give this a 10 out of 10..... Excellent

This product wasExtraordinary for potty training! This made my son have a confidence to go it all by himself. Folds up easily enough for a three year old to do it. Highly recommend you could use it for a tall toilet or a normal sized one

Easy to put together and three year old son loves using it (so it’s easy to use). Wish we would have bought it sooner in our potty training journey as I feel it has helped immensely with getting him to use the toilet on his own. We did not use the splash guard because he’s pretty good about pointing down so I have no comment on that.

My child loves this potty seat! It makes her feel very independent. It’s not the most sturdy but my 2 and 5 year old both use it. They have both learned to step in the middle of the step cause if you lean to one side while stepping up it wobbles. Other than that, it’s a really genius invention for potty training. No more cleaning those little potty bowls, no we can just flush! It’s a mother’s dream 😂

Folds easily, sturdy, little ones can be independent because of the handles on each side. Super easy to clean.

This potty teaching seat comes compactly delivered in a box which shows you exactly how to put it together without even opening the instructions. The assembly is so obvious you probably wouldn’t need instructions, but it’s nice you can verify everything at a glance. If you work better off directions than pictures, the instructions are written out quite thoroughly. The seat itself has two height options via easily interchangeable foot sizes. You can also change the step to two different heights. A nice touch is that you get enough screws and nonslip pads for both for heights and both steep heights. You can’t use them at the same time, but it provides for spares and cuts down on changing time if you switch between them. I haven’t had mine long enough to truly comment on sturdiness, however I would say it feels mid grade, and they list the maximum weight as 20kg (45lbs). My kid is just two and more slender, but I can see a stockier kid surpassing that weight before they can really sit on a full sized seat, especially an oval toilet. The main flaw on this seat is the splash guard. It didn’t lock on in any way, so the slightest tap will send it into the toilet. Basically you are going to need to do some modifications to use it, unless you don’t mind fishing things out of the toilet. It’s too big to flush, so even in a particularly bad scenario you can’t just say “screw it i’m not going in there” and be done with it down the drain. A couple of heavy duty binder clips will do the job, or anyone handy with a drill, screws, and/or rivets can easily fix it up nice. I don’t think you should have to modify something to work as designed. The handles also don’t fit flush with the rails. That’s mostly an aesthetic flaw. Clean up is pretty easy, as it wipes down clean. For the time being I would call it in between three and four stars, but I’ll round up. If the durability turns out to be poor or the aesthetic issues become functional problems I’ll change the rating to reflect that.

We decided on this potty seat because we needed a second one. We now have 2 kids potty training and sometimes they both have to go at the same time, so we put their old one in the master bathroom and this one in the kids' bathroom as the primary seat. We liked the lack of cushion seat the most because it warped and cracked on our other one and fell off all of the time. The splash guard is useless, though. It popped off the second our girl climbed up not so gracefully to sit on the potty. This means that your boy WILL spray everywhere if they don't know how to lean forward to point it down. Thankfully our boy is a litt older and now knows to basically put his stomach to his knees so he doesn't make a mess. Sturdy enough for my 2 kiddos and keeps the 16 month old from falling into the potty. Nice step for easier pooping too (think squaty potty) for our 3 year old. The 16 month old's legs are still too short.

The first one order showed up in damaged packaging and missing parts contacted the seller and the new one was sent before the bad one was in route so thanks for that customer service. My boy really likes climbing it and sitting on it it’s a big seat and helps with an older kid my is 5 and 52 pounds still training. Only con I see is that the splash guard is clipped on with little ledges and no mechanical connection he threw it in the toilet in like 3 seconds so gonna have to jerry rig a solution for that.

My 2.5yo son was very excited about this potty seat. It was easy to put together, fits in the toilet fine, and is easy to clean. I would recommend this potty seat be used for girls because the pee splash guard DOES NOT STAY ON. It doesn’t matter how many times we’ve tried to get it to stay, the slightest bump and the pee guard falls in the toilet. I wish the pee guard was built on permanently. Might try to drill a hole and thread a bolt and nut to get it to stay. But I do not recommend for little boys unless they already know how to aim their pee pee on their own.
