Removable grill, easy clean-up

The economy is bad and expensive. The price is reasonable for the sale price. I hope this don't get discontinued. Don't listen to any bad reviews. Just test it out for yourself to see if you like it or not. -Heats up pretty fast. Just becareful touching it. -Removable grill plates at the top and bottom -Legs are short making the bottom back piece touching the counter. I put aluminum foil under th grill for safety protection that way my counter don't get hot. -Drip plate handle can get hot. Just wait for the grill to cool down or use oven mitts or a pot holder to take out the drip tray. -NOT DISHWASHER SAFE but you can hand wash it or wipe it down. -Cooked hot dogs, breakfast sausages, hamburgers, and regular smoked sausage on it just fine. -Can't use metal spatula but you can use plastic or wooden spatulas to remove cooked food. -Lights turns on and off. I believe that is a way for it to not overheat since my Dash griddle does the same thing with the light. -Cord has a velcro strap to wrap the cord or you can wrap it around the cord wrapper storage at the lower back of the grill. I love the cord being tucked away. -The handle is not really ideal for portablity since there's no lock mechanism to keep the grill from opening. You would need to carry it away with both hands to put it away in a storage cabinet -Wipes up clean. I clean it when I unplug it and us a wet napkin and tongs or you can use a wet towel and tongs to wipe the plates. After it cools down I take the grill plates off and hand wash it with soapy water and a soft sponge. To clean up the oil in the drip tray. Make sure the drip tray is not hot. Use a paper towel to soak up the oil, pour in some baking soda to soak up leftover oil, and just wipe out the oil soaked baking soda into a trash bag. Never pour oil down the drain. When you pour fat, oil, or grease down the drain, it causes problems for you and your whole community. It can devastate the entire sewer system.

I always think it’s interesting when any minor or icon celebrity puts their name to a product designed by the manufacture’s design engineers. Obviously a marketing ploy and it doesn’t mean the product will work/last or be good quality. This grill has pretty exterior colours but the non-stick coating is cheap and made with harmful chemicals.
