Suction power seemed to be a little more than previous hand vacuums I have tried. As far as battery life I do not have an opinion as it failed to work on our carpeted steps. I tried to remove dog hair from the steps- as soon as I turned it on and the brush started spinning- I put a small amount of pressure on the carpeting and the brush stopped spinning. I had to turn it off and back on for the brush to spin again only to have the same thing happen. I tried removing and reattached the brush head and it did not change the outcome. I will be returning it today.

Received this vac and charged it It worked but not well. Suction was not the best as it describes.If I had read the 30 day return policy , I would have returned it immediately!Today I took it out of my car and it would NOT charge up or anything! Went to put in for a return and it’s too late! So over $ 50 dollars down the drain! Sucks!! Do not buy!!!!
