This is a great product, but it is way too bright for what I'm using it for. Good quality. Highly recommend for the right job.

Got this light to track scorpions. Before and afyer oics dont lie! They glow like they are at a Rave! Unit feels sturdy and seems to function as descibed.

I would have preferred 2 lithium batteries instead 6 AA.

A very very solid UV light. Lights up all the stains brightly. Eats through 6 AAA batteries in under an hour however.

Quality of build is fine. The UV output however could be stronger. This product would work well if you are examining furniture or walls in your home or a hotel. If you are examining things at ground or floor level you will have to stoop or bend in order to get enough UV light on the surface.

I use these for finding scorpions on the property (not fun!) The light is bright and I feel safer when I go outside, but I'm giving 4 stars because the batteries don't last a long time. Maybe the light is so powerful it drains faster, I don't know. But I can see across the yard when the batteries are new, so it is a good blacklight.
