Bought both the Kobra and the uvBeast UV Black Light Flashlight, 100 LED with 30-feet Flood Effect Same flashlight. I am sure that uvBeast will say that theirs is better but I highly doubt it. In fact, if these units didn't roll off the same assembly line, I'd be VERY surprised. On the outside... Same dimensions Same body markings Same weight Body comes apart in same places Same LED throw at given distances. Same LED hue. In taking them apart... Same battery caddies Same LED array Same PCB with the LEDs Same wires that connect the PCB Same cheap plastic light bezel At time of writing the uvBeast was $35 and the Kobra was $25. I say, save yourself money and buy the cheaper of the two, whichever that is.

Good size and sturdy but weaker light than I thought. Needs darkroom to work fully as advertised.

Battery life seems good, is bright. I used it to illuminate fluorescent braid fishing line for night fishing. Did good, not as good as old school fluorescent but for the battery light and portability it works great

First off, I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars because it's not as good as the version that's twice the price in ambient lighting. There's more contrast when looking for urine stains with the higher powered UV light. That being said, this is still a great price if what you're using for is looking for urine stains, particularly at night. Both lights looked like they got items to fluoresce equally. In addition, the casing to this flashlight seems better compared to to the more expensive version because it has a textured grip and is heavier. Check my "$40 vs $20 UV Flashlight" video on my XoletteLife channel. I included some screenshots from that video to show how these lights differ.

This black light flashlight is definitely bright! It came in a nice box and was well packaged. I bought this to look for golf balls at night and, let me tell you, I can see them over 15 yards away! Only down side is, this flashlight take SIX AA BATTERIES! I have never had a flashlight use some many batteries, ever. That is why I have it 4 out of 5 stars.

Very bright UV/Black light, better than expected. Probably not a good idea to look directly at it. You won't be disappointed by the quality of design or performance. Very durable and easy to use. Does get a bit warm possibly could even get hot, but haven't used it long enough to know. Can light things up from approx 30 to 40 ft away. And that's bad news for the scorpions! 😉

Sturdy, durable, feels like it's built to last. Nice and bright. Easy to use. A little heavy, but that's OK. Works well.

Unfortunately, when I first unscrewed the end cap to insert batteries, the sealing O-ring extruded - it had apparently been cut/damaged during assembly of the unit prior to shipment. Not good, as I need the unit to be waterproof for outdoor use. I have contacted to seller to request replacement O-rings. Will update review after i hear back. Update: Amazon required full exchange through seller. Seller responded with new unit (O-ring intact on opening) with 2 replacement O-rings included in the box as well. Well done!
