I was please with the prompt shipment and quality of packing. After installing 6 AA batteries all of the LED did light up. Some of the items on floor light up great but where I knew there was dried mouse urine I did not see the light I was expecting. Not sure if I will keep this light or return. Design of light looks to be durable enough given the price. I do not leave the light on longer than needed and the LEDs feel warm after two minutes being on.

Haven’t had long enough to review but Brighter would be better.

I especially liked the range of the light beam which covers a big area. I was facing messes left by two adult Golden Retriever males whose owner kept them in a 400 sq foot area in my basement in the four months she was living in my house. They were unneutered for the first several weeks and left remnants of their humping in addition to urine, blood and feces accidents. This powerful light identified the problem areas and allowed me to clean properly in probably 1/5th the time it would have otherwise taken for this unpleasant job. This tool was well worth the small monetary investment.

This functions well. It could throw a bigger light, and loses a lot of strength quickly with distance. But it certainly does what I wanted it to. I use it to spot mold growing in the attic and basement. Not every kind will show up under black light, but some will. It's interesting to find old stains in the house, and try to remember what they were.

I have a 16 year old dog who can no longer be bothered with holding it while we are out. I put papers down for him and he tries, but the old guy just doesn't have the best aim anymore. I bought this light, so that when cleaning up I can see if I got it all the misses and dribbles. The good news, is I have been getting most of it up. The bad news is my curiosity got the best of me and I took this light around other parts of the house (where out dog has never been allowed) and found the nightmares of owners past. Back to the light. It is pretty bright for a handheld black light. During the day (lights off), but plenty outside light coming in, I can easily see the evidence of past disasters. The light gets warmer than any battery powered flashlight I have owned. I have a feeling that means it will eat batteries fast when on, but then again this is not the type of light you use to get around in the dark, and is used just for quick spot checks. The packing this light came in caught me off guard. Just wrapped and taped up in bubble wrap. Clearly just a mass import and not designed in anyway for on the shelf retail.

Works well. Good quality.

Appears to be very well made and is very bright.

Drains 6 - AA batteries very fast. LEDs get hot fast. Do NOT look directly at the LEDs when it is on! You could go blind. Not everything that it lights up is biological in nature. Definitely (picks up / shows) pet excrement.

It seems well made, and it worked right out of the box. It takes six AA batteries. I would have given five stars, but one of the sealing o-rings was damaged. There were two extras in the box, so I was able to replace it.

Great for my inspections at the hotel
