The two pieces between which the arc forms is a bit narrow, so I have been getting some pieces of charred wick stuck to it. Doesn't seem to impact functionality, but it does mean that when you go to turn on the lighter it will start burning the pieces stuck to itself as well. Less than ideal in terms of safety I think.

This is quick & easy to use. I’ve only had for a week so can’t really rate the battery use. It plugs into a usb.

Works great, better than matches, fast and easy

I chose this model because it says it supports USB-C charging. Unfortunately, this is only partially true. It will NOT charge from most USB-C chargers! You have to plug it into a USB-A port for it to actually charge, which is then a slow process. Now I have to either dig up an old USB-A charger or plug it into a computer port, which defeats the whole purpose of stream-lining our charging cables at home. It also doesn't seem to last that long on a charge. Seems like they should make these things with bigger batteries, but then they would cost more.

Works great for what it does, but man it puts off a high frequency sound that is just atrocious to hear. Thank God it lights things fast otherwise I would have returned it.

The arch tip is a tad small, but it works. It emits a high pitch squeal, or whistle when on. My kids can’t stand in the same room if I’m lighting a candle. It hurts their ears.

love not having to deal with matches but i have to hold it on the wick for a long time for it to light and sometimes it just turns off randomly when i’m trying to light something

Worked out of the box, no charging needed. There is an obnoxious hissing noise. If you can get over that you'll be fine. Makes me cringe a little though. Really like the idea of a rechargable lighter, but don't like the obnoxious noise.

Works great but I give it a 3 star because battery is not so good.. Charge drains really quick less then a week in use
