Love this Rattan light! It completely fits in with my home and it's essence. I love anything rattan, so was super excited when I found this light. It's minimal and chic. Definitely recommend if this is your style!
This Globe Electric Laurel light adds depth and texture to my living room. The rattan backplate is a very nice touch and provides a new and relaxing feel. I almost think I'm at the beach with a straw hat every time I glance at it. The long fabric cord also makes it stand out and not look like another stale lamp. Really innovative and cool decor!
The mechanics of it is made well. The looks of it with the rattan is kind of retro, I find it a little ugly. The lamp itself is great you just plug it in and it works. You can hardwire it in but I like the fact that you can just plug it in so you can move it around and put it wherever you want. The rattan back disc just doesn’t do it for me, I’m thinking about painting it. But the material that they used for the cord and the light socket is good quality.
This sconce was easy to put together and easy to install. I chose to do the plug-in but you also have the option to hardwire which would look much nicer. I like the exposed lightbulb and used a vintage-looking Edison bulb. That and the rattan give it a cottage vibe.
