We live in a very rural area and getting a variety of tv channels has always been a challenge. We have tried many different types of antennas over the years and after a while just figured they were all the same. We were wrong! This antenna was so easy to set up. It works great with my smart tv and is really easy to use. I moved it around a few different spots in my living room until I found the best signal. My regular older antenna was getting me about 6 channels and always blurring out or cutting up. I had to constantly get up to change its position. It’s been about 2 weeks that I’ve used the Philips Antenna and let me tell you I’ve thrown the old one out. This new antenna gives me triple the channels. Bought this antenna to see what channels I could pick up on my area. Really impressed with the number of channels and great reception. Love the design of this antenna. Packed up the cable box's and planning to cut the cord. Never going back to cable, going to enjoy free TV!!

I just purchased this antenna this morning for use in my camper (temporary office) as I needed a place to work during the day so I can get away from my family who is all stuck at home during the Covid-19 lock down. Anyway, having TV was essential so I don't feel like I am locked in a box. I have 3 other $20 antennas that I tried to get to work and all failed. If I stood and held them in a perfect spot I might get reception for a few seconds and that was it. I wondered if a more expensive antenna would really work or if I was going to just add another to the pile. I decided to give it a try and sure glad I did. Where I live obviously the signal is poor. When I picked up the box it was light weight and my thought was yeah right this isn't going to work, when I got home and opened the box I had a similar thought, but I plugged it in, did a channel scan and sure enough I received 12 channels perfectly. I am a skeptic no more and glad I got this antenna. If you are in the same boat as me I cannot say what your results will be but it definitely work for to the point that I took the time to create a Target account so I could write this review. The antenna picks up around 40 channels consistently inside when placed near a window with a pretty unobstructed view. That is a drastic improvement over our last one that picked up anywhere from 8-18 sporadically. We even pick up some Chicago channels, which are coming from nearly 70 miles away.

Easy to set up and got all my local channels.
