I usually don't use foil razors because I grow my beard out, but I was willing to give this a try. To my surprise it actually trimmed my thick hair around my neck line that other foil shavers wouldn't do. Maybe it's the dual blades but it did what I wanted it to do either way. The device is about the size of a bar of soap so it makes it very travel friendly. The plastic cover that goes on top of the blades covers the power button so while traveling it would be hard to accidentally press the power button, also the lid has a couple of magnets in it so that it stays on the device which gives it a satisfying click into place. I also like that the device is usb-c chargeable and not proprietary, making it easy to replace and charge if you're out of town and you lose the cord it came with.
