This new version of the Irobot vacuum looks intimidating to setup when you first open the box - but was actually super easy. Just follow the steps and download the app on your phone first. I am still getting ours used to the map of the house and both time it has fallen over a door way and shut off. I think once that is resolved it will be good to go.

This Roomba vacuum is simply amazing!! I love the fact that it has a mop as well. And the attachment is so easy for cleanup! I love the Roomba products line. I have another model but this new one is my favorite by far!! Super easy to setup and use.

The iRobot Roomba J7+ Combo that was sent to me by Hey Bullseye in exchange for my honest review is truly one of a kind. This Robot vacuum and mop. The setup is so incredibly easy. There was a getting started manual card right in the top of the box that explained what to do, step-by-step. Before even opening up the box, there were instructions to download the app. The app so easily takes you through one step at a time set up. It connects seamlessly to your home Wi-Fi connection and phone. You can choose to either vacuum or vacuum and mop. It comes with 2 mop pads, 2 packs of Bona concentrate floor cleaning solution (recommended), and a replacement brush head. The owner's guide is easily found online and has everything you may possibly need to know! When it docks with the charging station, the vacuum will empty its dirt reservoir into the upright tank on the charging base; the same operation empties the mop reservoir as well. This allows you to empty it less often, a great benefit. Setting up the mop is very easy as well - simply remove the bin/tank then fill the tank side with solution, attach the mop pad to the flap, then replace the tank and you're ready to mop. You literally start the cleaning run with the push of a button in the app. The coolest part of the j7 is how it learns to map your home. It's kind of incredible. After just one or two passes through your home, it is able to learn the area perfectly. I was uncertain how well the mop function would work but it is truly amazing! Not only is it quick but the recommended product for it dries so quickly that it really takes the work out of "housework!" You can go into the app and edit each space and name each zone. This allows for you to go back and send the vacuum to only one specific area in your home as needed. This very same option allows for you to mark a specific zone red and therefore the vacuum will not enter. Remarkable! The one and only downside we have found, though it's hard to complain about this gem is that it's indeed quite loud! The suction it provides explains this, however comparatively it is a great deal louder than other robot vacuums. This robot vacuum and mop combo makes cleaning my carpet and hardwood floors as easy as 1, 2, 3!!

Great improved Roomba I have an old model but this one is great, has a mop head that comes down on its on and mops or vacuums . Also dumps its own dirt. Many great improvements. I like how bright the headlight is on the front too.

I absolutely love this thing! I’m a working mom of two kids, two large shedding dogs, and a cat. I could never keep up with the vacuuming and moping the way I would like but this thing is awesome. I set it to run when I leave the house in the morning and come home from work to clean floors! So nice! I had little hope that this would keep up in my house but I was so wrong! I’ve been running it 4-5 times a week on vacuum, 3 times to mop and then I do a really good vacuum and mop once a week. There are some things that it’s not amazing at, like the edges of carpets and saddles between rooms and it does mop but doesn’t scrub. I have hard wood, area rugs, engineered hardwood, slate, and tile and it’s great for them all! It maps your house and knows where to mop and where rugs are. So smart. I love that I can use the app to run this while I’m out too. I have no complaints except that I didn’t get one sooner!
