Bought a starter set and also this paddle as a step up... Quickiy transitioned to this one because of the amazing grit and spin and just overall feel.

I feel I have an average size hand and included a picture of a ruler for better comparison. It fit great in my hand and was easy to swing around. The face of the racquet felt textured. This racket is a nice quality racket and it also has a nice grasp as well. The quality of this is nice and we feel like it would last a long time it is lightweight and easy to hold. We also feel like when the ball hits it bounces nicely over to the other side of the net as we were trying this out overall we feel like if you’re looking for a beginner set this is the perfect option for you. This Franklin paddle is certified for use in games and tournaments by the USA Pickleball Association, so that means it’s legit! The MaxGrit technology is supposed to help the player achieve maximum traction when hitting on the court. This racket is a little heavier than some of the others but at almost 8 oz, I wouldn’t consider it “heavy”. I received an incentive to write this review.

I like the bigger surface size. The course grit on the surface is so much heavier than my other one. It is easy to keep my grip with the handle and is comfortable in my hand.
