The clippers that it comes with a kinda flimsy, but the guards that came with the WAHL clippers (which are terrible) fit great. With their forces combined, it's a stellar set!!!
I'm pleasantly surprised with these clippers. I've owned several Wahl clippers, recently purchased two of them and they were terrible quality. These Andis clippers are really well made. Blades are super sharp, they have a super smooth cutting pattern, meaning they don't pull my hair like the Wahl clippers do, and they used a premium grade materials to make the housing of these clippers. If you're on a budget and need a good quality clipper, then look no further.
These clippers are really nice. My wife is a now retired Cosmetologist who worked in that industry 40+ years. She was surprised by its quality construction as well as its performance. I bought it just for beard maintenance but she used it to give me a haircut as well. She likes it as much than her much more expensive clippers she uses from her work tools that she keeps around to cut my hair.
Quiet and incredible battery life! I’ve had these clippers for about 6 months. I charged them when I took them out of the box and six months later the battery is still rocking! I use them about once a month to cut my hair and don’t use any blade guards. I had another well known brand and it always required recharging after every use and sometimes before each use. Not these! Can I go the whole year without a recharge? I doubt it but we will see!
