It’s a bit bulkier than she’d like, but other than that it’s good! Putting together the cartridge was simple, just push in the little button. Cleaning the color-sonic is simple too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is super easy to use. I watched the video from L’Oréal’s website and read through the directions in the box and it was very easy to follow. I chose the Light Ash Brown color and it came out beautifully. The machine is easy to use and it didn’t take long for me to adjust to using it. I find it much easier than using the traditional squeeze bottle for box color. Easy to clean, which is a major plus! This will be my go to for hair color for the foreseeable future!

Finally, the answer to salon results at home along with ease & convenience! I must admit that I was skeptical at first. Yes, the thought of what this tool promises sounded amazing but also unlikely. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it perform as promised, but it also provided optimal results that left me looking like I had just stepped out of my local salon! I also thought the tool itself looked bulky & heavy for uncomfortable use. Again, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is considerably lightweight & easy to maneuver given what it does, along with the fact that it houses a color cartridge. The hair color tool basically does all the hard work for you. You just hold the tool and guide! Afterward, rinse, wash, & dry for a beautiful finish! In addition, the hair color cartridges, which are sold separately, come in an array of shades to choose from. Also, the cartridge can be re-used if you don't need the full amount provided. That will depend on whether you're doing a touch-up or a full head of color, as well as how long your hair may be. Ideally, you should, on average, be able to obtain either 1 full hair coloring session or 3 root touch-ups, give or take, from one cartridge. Regardless, the L'Oreal Paris Colorsonic Hair Color Device and Colorsonic Amonia Free Permanent Hair Color Cartridges bring your salon home to you or provide you longer wait times in between salon visits.
