I filled it up, let it sit to get nice and cold and then drank. The water was very fresh and good tasting. I only drink bottled water, so this is nice to have home and save my bottles for work.

Being that I purchase lots of bottled water, this PUR 11 Cup Pitcher Filtration System has replaced my bottle buying. It is large enough to hold all the water I drink in a day and it is designed extremely well. I like the very effective filtration system which doesn't even require power or battery use. The handle is perfectly aligned on the pitcher for easy handling and the lid stays perfectly in place at all times. I like being able to see the water and how clear and filtrated the water is from the filtration. Overall, this PUR 11 Cup Pitcher Filtration System is GREAT and will help me save money buying water and cutting down on plastic use. My water now tastes BETTER than ever from the tap and I can even taste how much better it is than bottled water.

The improvement in taste from my tap water is so noticeable that I regret not getting this sooner. I have gotten so used to drinking tap water that the unpleasant after-taste doesn’t bother me as much, but I would probably drink more water if it tasted better. Buying bottled water all the time is expensive, plus it’s a chore to haul, requires too much space and creates unnecessary pollution. I still keep a few bottles for my guests but I needed a solution for myself. Getting this pitcher was that solution and is one of the best decisions I’ve made in a while. What initially drew me to this pitcher is the design. The color is a smoky gray, which gives it a sleek contemporary look. Another feature I like is the smart lid. The smart lid contains a light feature that informs you when the filter needs to be changed. I think this is so brilliant because it’s one less thing I have to keep track of. Additionally, the lid has a nice sized hole which makes refilling very convenient. I also like that the pitcher holds 11 cups. My refrigerator space is limited so this provides a good amount of water for an upright pitcher. Last, but not least, I take comfort in knowing that the water I’m drinking is healthier for me given the filtration process. I am so happy with this pitcher and and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to help use less bottled water. Our tap water is very gross tasting and this made it taste great. It is very slow to filter but overall I definitely like it. The size is good for my family of 4.

It's easy to put together and it makes my water taste as if I bought it at the store and normally my water tastes and smells like river.
