This rack is a big disappointment. The plastic ends bent and won’t stay connected to the handles. As a result the clothes ended up on the floor. Not sturdy enough for very many clothes.

Bar is nice and strong but when trying to load it a bump can cause it to fall off. Once loaded with clothes it is secure. Does a great job when picking up at cleaners. Ty wrap might do the trick but then it's semi permanent install.

So I've been using this to transport my dry cleaning mostly. It's basically 3 suits and shirts each week. The plastic clips on the end bent day 1 and were a bit to small to properly hook onto the overhead handles. The metal clips were better as I can hook them in my SUV no problem. Downside with the clips is because of the angle the hooks are in most cars, they pop out sometimes. A little annoying but not a deal breaker for my car. The grip on the actual bar is great none of my items slip or slide at all and it's easy to separate things. Overall this is a great concept but would need a bit more work with the design. Instead of plastic bendable clips on the end making them with metal or something more durable and slightly wider be a suggestion. Additionally this doesn't work well in smaller cars. I tried it in a few other vehicles and it just doesn't stay hooked.

Plastic hanger stretched out and rod fell on the first trip we used it for.
