Not durable, I ordered a 2 pack and both strings of lights broke while trying to hang them. BOTH of them! The blinking variety modes were nice though and skipped through nicely. Would be great Halloween lights for a porch or something if you have a safe way to display them. The orange color was cool to look at! Overall, I probably would have been happy with the purchase if they didn’t both break. So I would recommend this item if you are mindful of how lightweight the product is.

The lights lite up right away but are pretty dull and not impressive at all. I would not buy again.

Worked great, charged fine, good soft lighting, then just stopped working after less than 2 months. I've had similar sets go for a couple of years.

Too bad that it stopped working after 35 days. We couldn’t return anymore. Such a waste and your money threw off the window.

These solar lights are fantastic. I was hesitant to purchase as so many of the solar light kits tend to be weak with their light. I wanted to wrap my Pygmy palm tree trunks and these little lights are so easy to wrap, they disappear during the day but when the sun goes down they are bright. You can also set them to flash for a party effect. I started wrapping the trunks around 4pm and figured it would take a full day of sun to energize them. Not so, they were on and bright immediately and stayed that way throughout the night. The price is right and I will be purchasing more. I reduced these from 5 stars to three because they EAT batteries. New batteries are only good for 20-25 days and they begin to fade out. Because you have to undo all four screws in order to change out the battery it is a HUGE pain. Disappointed because they look lovely when they are bright, sadly only good for a few weeks until have to switch out the batteries again.

7/22 UpdateI was contacted by seller and given refund for set of lights that aren’t working. There is a one year warranty so keep your paperwork and make note. They surmised one set must have been damaged in shipping. I am pleased with the customer service and will be ordering another set of lights.Original Review: I ordered two sets and have them in same potted plant but one stopped working just days after I turned it on. The other is now changing settings on its own. I had kept it at the ‘ all lights on’ with no movement setting. Now it randomly changes to the setting where all of the modes display.It does not light up during the day at all as well. It is light sensitive and only comes on as it darkens outside ( or wherever you’d use these.)

I've had these lights (red color) for about 3 weeks. They've survived 2 very rainy, windy days so far. Lights aren't bright enough to read, i use them for ambience & i like the look of them.The only problem I've had so far, is a very irritating problem. And the problem is, I have to reset the lights EVERY DAY.Every night the lights turn on without issue. They even lit up after 1 of the 2 very rainy, cloudy days. But when they turn on, they always go back to demo mode & cycle through all the light patterns. They don't stay set to the pattern that was previously selected.I have other fairy lights that don't have this issue. i wanted to buy more of these in a different color, but I'll just go back to my old brand.

I bought 2 strings of these lights. The lights were great for about the first 3 months and then suddenly one set starting only lighting up half the string and the other set stopped working completely. Will not buy again.Updated: company reached out to me and fully refunded the cost of the lights. Customer service was polite and quick to respond. I still stand by my one star review for the actual lights but I’m upgrading it to 3 stars for the quick resolution of the problem

I like them with the exception that they don’t stay on very long

I loved everything about these lights when I ordered them a few weeks ago. I was looking for something energy efficient, but when I saw these were solar powered and appeared the same as the LED lights I've seen, I ordered them without hesitating. We finally hung these over the weekend and have been fairly disappointed so far....Before putting the lights on our deck, an area that receives a ton of sun, so it shouldn't have had any trouble generating enough sunlight to power the lights, we set the lights with the solar panel outside to charge. When we picked them up, they would flicker a bit so we wondered if there was a short in them or what the problem was. Either way, we determined a lay out for hanging them on our our deck and then my husband hung them. He chose to staple them on to hold them in place as we plan to leave the lights out all season as an alternative for nighttime lighting. I don't know if this choice has played a role in why the lights aren't working well, but it seemed like a good option so we went with it. The first night, probably 6 inches of the light were lit up. We assumed the lights were cheap and that solar powered were a poor choice, however, the next night probably 3 feet of the lights were lit up. Last night would have been the third night but we were not home so I was unable to check the progress.At this point, I'm not sure if the lights are still charging and that's why they aren't lit up, if stapling them was a bad option, or if they simply aren't a great product. I will report back things change, which I really hope they do because I want to love these!UPDATE as of 9/6/2016: The company promptly reached out to me and quickly sent me a new set of lights without requiring me to send back the original lights (huge bonus). The staff has been really great to work with! I would honestly buy from this company again, just because they've been so great to work with and it's always a relief to find out your money is being spent with a company that sees you as more than "just another customer." I'll update this again as soon as we get them hung up
