Been using them for 1 week. They work great & are very bright for tiny LED's Nice that you can't really see the thin wiring, but you must be careful where you hang it since it is hard to see clearly, during the day when the lights are not on. The wiring is nice and thin and easy to mold, but a bit of a pain getting tangled so definitely keep the cardboard holder to wrap them in. Solar charging, when facing west, charges and stays lite for most of the evening and comes on automatically when it's dark outside. They were a bit dim & didn't last too long, but still came on in the evening after an overcast and drizzly day. *Currently winter and getting dark at 5:30pm here so will need to test in the spring. Will probably get 2 more to finish lighting the porch.Update: 1 stopped working after 8 months

These seem to be quite nice. Too soon to tell just how well they'll hold up to the outside weather, although they are going inside a clear glass globe and will be out of the direct weather. Not very bright, but a nice glow.

I wanted to add something special to my sons bedroom with out too much light, and I didn't want a cord plugged in or a battery pack (he's a toddler so I can't have dangling cords). Ideally I didn't want to have to worry about flipping it on or off, I just wanted it to come one with the night time and off in the morning. I bought these lights and strung them on his ceiling the solar power box was threaded through the top of the window and mounted on the outside. At night when he comes up to bed the lights are engaged and it looks magical in his room. Every once in awhile they don't turn on (not sure if they just lost charge or exactly why) but they seem to come back the next day or so. Would love to see this done more often - I wish I had a better photo but this gives you an idea. My only regret - I should of ordered a longer strand.

I'v always wanted lights around the edge of my deck, but never had an outlet nearby. With the solar lights from AMIR I was able to solve that problem. It takes a bit of experimenting to get the right look with the lights, unless you do the math the figure out how much you need for your space. I like the fact that the light sensor is in the solar panel, so if I want them on in the day, I flip the panel to be out of the sun. The different light modes are nothing more than a novelty for me because I prefer the constant light for my deck. Others will probably enjoy the flashing for different applications. Highly recommend. Worked perfectly from day one. Unsure of the longevity since I've had them less than a week. Overall, very pleased.

I was very happy with these lights. Similar lights are available for purchase in specialty or craft stores for a much higher price. The solar power option is fantastic and works very well. They are really for ambiance only and look fantastic on an indoor or outdoor plan. I purchased multiple sets and put two on my fence. They aren't visible during the day and twinkle at night. There was one issue with the lights and that was that the third set did not work at all.Pros:- Inexpensive compared to similar products found in the store- Lovely, warm light- Solar power with battery option- Timer option on boxCons:- 1 set I purchased did not work- Lights tangle easily- The lights outside have a shorter life span than those inside (despite sets being indoor/outdoor)The benefits of the light far outweigh the issue i had with one of the boxes.

bought these for Christmas and for some reason they did not work. They sent me a refund but I didn’t order another product since it was too late to set up lights now. Their customer service is very polite and responsive. I only got a defective product and I understand this happens a even in big name stores. I will try them next year for sure.

-- I like the length of the string: it's pretty long.-- The light could have been brighter, but I guess they are okay for the price (I bought it on a Cyber Monday discount for $8). Electricity-powered decorations installed by my neighbors are, of course, much brighter.-- Based on my observation, the battery lasts for about 4-5 hours after a sunny day. Much less after a gloomy one.

I got these lights for some outdoor plants. The copper strings are incredibly long, and took quite a while to unravel from the little cardboard pieces they came tightly wrapped around. Quite a challenge to set up because the copper is so thin and flimsy feeling. Feels as though you're setting up a long strand of dental floss that has lights. Really. They have an on/off switch, as well as another switch to adjust whether the lights stay on or blink. They have solar panels with attachable stakes. They turn on automatically when it gets dark and off when it gets bright. They last all night once fully charged. I'm talking 12 hours of glowing plants, which is awesome. When the Christmas season is over and I'm packing them away till next time, they can't go back into the tiny boxes they came in, so I'll have to leave them fairly loose and perhaps pack in large plastic bags and hang somewhere to store. I have a concern about the thin copper not standing the test of time. We will see.

I purchased these lights to go around our patio umbrella. Overall, I'm pleased with them. They were easy to install, didn't need a full day's charge to work the first night, and still seem to be working reliably after a few days of use in 100+ degree weather. I didn't give them 5 stars because there isn't a way to attach the solar panel to the umbrella itself and there isn't much leader wire before the lights begin. I had to mount the solar panel on the stake in the ground, which means that some of the lights are taken up going from the ground to the umbrella and as a result couldn't make it all the way around the outer circumference of the umbrella. (If the solar panel mounted to the umbrella itself, there would've been enough lights to make it all the way around my standard-sized market umbrella). There is very little leader wire (about five inches) before the copper wire and lights begin so you can see the lights going from the solar panel to my umbrella. But for the price, these lights were a nice addition to our patio umbrella. I just hope my dogs don't wipe them out running between the wire hanging from the umbrella to the solar panel on the stake.
