I’m a big guy and the chair is quite sturdy for me. It sits a little lower than I was expecting, but still comfortable. My enthusiasm for the purchase was dampened when I saw the box it came in. It was rather small and the only thing written on the outside was “Returns will only be Accepted in this box”. Despite quotations I’m paraphrasing. That usually means a caveat emptor type purchase. So with trepidation I cut the tape. The number of pieces when I opened it was daunting. However the instructions (or more accurately the photocopy of instructions) were simple to understand and all the pieces and hardware were clearly labeled. I easily put the three pieces together. This leads to my only criticism, if I have to do all that assembly it shouldn’t cost this much. If it were $50 less this would be a five star rating. But they are only giving me parts for me to build my own furniture. Even though it is a splendid set.

Cushions don’t actually look like they do as pictured. Much smaller and has hard lumps. Does not look as high-quality. For the price, you would think that it would have decent cushions. Chairs are nice, but the cushions are poor quality. Not the end of the world.. but good to take note if better quality is what you are looking for.

The set looks great! However, this was by the far the most difficult set to put together. Holes didn't line up, screws didnt go in like they should. I've never cursed so much at putting together furniture. I had to take a day off because it was so frustrating. So yes, looks great once its put together but I wouldn't purchase again unless someone else was putting it together.

The set presented some difficulty in assembly in that some of the screw inserts are so badly misaligned that the screws could not be finished. I have 3 left over screws due to the misaligned screw inserts. One of the chairs was warped pretty badly that I am glad there were leg adjusters to offset the warp. I would not buy again without first seeing the quality of the product.

Nothing fit properly the L wrench was a terrible tool to tighten bolts

Had no idea the number of screws this patio set had. Many of the screws did not line up with their holes. We ended up skipping some of the screws for that reason. We also had to redrill some holes for the wood top. It took close to 3 hours to put the entire thing together. It was also lower to the ground than I was expecting. But it looks good now that it is all complete.

I loved this online, but when it came I was shocked it came in one medium box?! Then I opened the box and the whole thing needed to be put together! Hundreds of screws!! I would not buy unless you’re looking for a project.

Have no issues with quality or comfort of product. However, I downgraded review because the box was damaged and a hardware bag had a hole that emptied the hardware everywhere in the box with a few missing pieces. My biggest issue was in the assembly because the cams did not align with the bolt holes, especially in attaching the arms. That process involves 6 bolts...good luck with that alignment. In three instances, I could not even screw in the bolt and resorted to using a screw to attach the pieces. If you are assembling, it would behoove you to use a ratchet screwdriver with a hex head. Those hex wrenches provided are a joke, especially considering the other issues with alignment. I have put together more furniture than I want to think about and this was the absolute worst experience.

It is very nice once it’s put together but it was not easy to put the chairs together. Hard to align the holes. It took A lot longer to build than I would’ve thought.

Purchased because it was in stock and the price didn’t seem inflated like everything else is today. Overall it is a nice looking set. After assembly, the set I received, looks just like the pictures on the Tanga website. The wicker is plastic and the frame is square steel tube. The foam in the cushions isn’t very dense and the fabric is very thin. The seat is deep but this is a short set of chairs and table. Make note of the dimensions before purchasing. Other reviews mentioned that it was “difficult to assemble.” Or “the holes didn’t line up.” If you follow the instructions in regards to tightening the bolts all of the holes line up and then you tighten. This set takes time to assemble so take your time. If you want something that you aren’t going to spend a lot of time sitting in but looks nice it’s not a bad purchase.
