Never turned on

I have another oximeter that works perfectly and bought this one in case that one broke. Today, I took it out of the box and put the batteries in but it wouldn’t turn on. I ended up trying 3 sets of new batteries and it still wouldn’t turn on-I’m very disappointed with the quality of this product.

You get what you pay for...

The oximeter was cheap enough, easy enough to use, and to read - but it is NOT accurate. It is at least 2 to 4 points off on the pulse ox readings. If someone is wearing oxygen and titrating to get (or keep) a certain percentage, this will not give a true picture. During a plandemic when ppl are monitoring their pulse ox, you want accuracy - this device NOT accurate. I would return it but have already tossed the box. Cheaper is not always better...

Arrived not working

Ordered for "just in case" a few months ago. Finally opened today and it won't power on. Based on the good reviews, I made the assumption it would be fine. No such luck.

POS

This is the worst pulse ox I have ever bought! It’s awful. I just got it today. Took it out of the package, and had to replace the batteries three times. It’s a piece of junk and not worth the money! I would not recommend anyone buying this. You will be sadly disappointed!

From an RN: Unreliable

If you do not have accuracy in a pulse ox, you have nothing. I was really relying on this product to give me accurate readings during a critical time. It cost me a trip to the emergency department - it reads inaccurately low. O2 sat said 89%, was really 95% per ED staff. Do not buy this one.

Spend a little more for something more user friendly with all it parts.

Couldn't use because the batteries were missing. Case missing, lanyard missing. Located some barraries to see if it worked and found that you have to go through a setup process every time you change or take the battaries out. Spend a little more for something more user friendly with all it parts.

Useless Piece of Junk

I needed it to measure heart rate. I have tachycardia...fast heart rate..from Covid. This machine measured my heart rate at 65, when it should have been over 100. Request a refund.

oxygen meter

I received this item on august 27th and it quit working november 23rd. I changed batteries and it kept saying finger out whether my finger was in or out and then would shut off. Really a waste of money.

Case was Missing Twice

Contec advertised this finger pulse oximeter came with a case. That appealed to me. I ordered this product twice. Both times, it arrived with no case. Consequently, i returned both oximeters and gave up on Contec.

Wet touchy

Half the time it doesn’t turn on. Sometimes it does turn on and then shuts immediately off. Sometimes you have to take the batteries out just to get it to turn on, then by the time you get it on your finger it turns right back off.
