Just bought this mixer and have only used it once. It did what it was supposed to do. Though it's louder than I expected. I thought Kitchenaid would make smoother less noisy products. Not having to mix ingredients by hand is wonderful! It was an open-box product as such very dirty and packaged poorly (despite taking two days to package it.) The Styrofoam had come apart and countless tiny balls were stuck to the mixer as well as everywhere on my counters and kitchen floor when I opened it. It took me hours to clean everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a Stand Mixer for a while now. To determine if I would use it enough to justify the cost I bought an inexpensive Mixer. I immediately seen that it would be well worth the money. The cheap one I bought broke less than a month after I got it. I love the KitchenAid! No comparison to the inexpensive Mixer.
