The only strange thing is that on the instructions the buttons are marked MEAT and COOK. On the actual fork, the Cook is labeled Taste. No big deal, but it's interesting.
This tool is great for those who enjoy grilling. I have only used it on chicken, because I feel that's when I really need a thermometer. I like that it has a long handle and I don't need a heat resistant glove to check the temperature. Very handy and it has several setting. I will eventually use them, so now I don't cook without it.
