I went up a size per the recommendation of the comments. The "slimming" part of the shapewear is fine but the straps are already digging into my skim and leaving deep, red marks after only 2 hrs of use (and the straps are as "loose" as it can be). I would avoid buying this just for the bad straps.

2x fit snuggly 5’11 238 lb woman. I wear 1x cloths Feels light weight and I’m sure will be more comfortable once it breaks in. I do wish though. that the straps were a little wider , but it is what it is and I got it for free with a gift card so I’ll keep it. all in all if I have to rate it 1-10 I’ll give it 7.5

I had it to retuned because the legs fitted too tight.
Nice
Like the material but disliked the behind part it’s to small needs to be little bigger doesn’t feel right in the butt cheek area

The material was wonderful - the only flaw is the thigh area could be longer to be more comfortable- and I will probably purchase another one- in the future. - Nice control in areas that need to be smoothed out.

This didn’t provide nearly enough compression in the tummy area as I had hoped. I just had a baby and still looked pregnant. I even got a size smaller than normal. But it was comfortable, didn’t dig into my legs and the bathroom opening was large enough when I needed go.

Unfortunately, I saw a great review of this item on YouTube and thought the design with the butt cutouts was fantastic. However, in reality it just squeezes my butt into a strange shape. I also agree with the other reviews that speak about the straps coming off and digging in, it is just poorly designed for the cost.

It's very loose fitting for a 1X so sad, I wanted to be sculpted

The inner thigh areas are not quite comfortable, and the strips detached themselves often. In general the fabric is smooth and shaped the body in a natural way.

In general I like this item. I was hoping for something a little more flattening in the stomach area, but this definitely smooths out the "wobbly-bits" as Bridget Jones would say. Its very tight fitting but it needs to be to shape, and it feels fine once its on. It does look alarmingly small, but I'm typically a size 12 and have a bit of a post-baby pouch, and a Large fit me just fine. I'm thrilled this had a open gusset for using the restroom without completely undressing, but beware its ONLY for # 1's, there is no hope of going #2 without completely undressing. I get that would be hard to design into women's shape wear, but seriously we're still human beings, biological functions happen. We have clothing that can track your health but we still don't have shape wear that accommodates normal biology? Figure this out people.
