There was a nice level of compression in the waistline without being too tight or uncomfortable. I liked that the neckline was flattering without being too deep and the ruffles on the shoulder was a nice touch. The fabric was well lined and is good quality. A great buy! The material is really soft and stretchy which is amazing and exactly what you want for a swimsuit. I would say it is true to size as I am wearing a size medium. The medium says size 8-10. My daughter is a size 6. I like the full bottom coverage and the v-neck top. The flutter sleeves are pretty as well. The lining has minor padding but it might get curled in the wash. I would most likely take them out since they are removable. It does offer some tummy control. This size medium bathing suit felt a little tight on me so I would recommend going one size up. The material is very thick and a good quality material. It felt very nice on my skin.
