The opening for your feet is too small. The shoe fits well but I had to slit the opening to get in it. The shoe itself is wide enough for those of us with wide feet but the opening is too narrow. I use the shoe for swimming.

They do work well, but the problem is, if you get sand in these, you can try, but there really is no way to get it out. Also, the Soles often fall out, or get ruined.

Aqua socks are a great way to keep your feet safe while in the water or walking on the beach

The convenience of slipping these on and off as I went outside to get in the kiddie pool with the kid made her happy. But not useful for anything beyond known area, would not trust them in a pond\lake\river.
