Unimpressed

Disappointed by this product considering the good reviews on it. If you're only expecting to use this with an iPhone then the playback quality is great - can't comment about Android. Noise cancelling is nonexistent however and the mic is mediocre at best. If you're planning to use this with a computer - DON'T. The sound quality becomes muddy and muffled. Hearing another person is OK. You can still talk and hear them fine - but videos, music, games - AWFUL. I have updated every sound driver possible and it sounds fine on everything but this headset. Also this does not support multi-device compatibility. If I want to switch back to my phone it disconnects from my computer and vice versa. Additionally minor, but there's no sound to indicate when it gets turned on or off - there's just a little light on the power button (right side). It will however make a sound when it connects to a device. Not the most user friendly. But otherwise - for the price especially - I would give these a HARD pass.

BOUGHT TWO SETS OF THE BEATS FLEX

I purchased two pair of these earbuds. One is working perfectly fine. The other stopped working about 45 days after I purchased. Of course, Amazon return policy for these earbuds is 30 days. My Luck. Unless I get the second pair to work, I will be disappointed with the product overall. Especially since I can't return them.

No Charging Cord included!!

They were great other than the fact there is no charging cord included. It’s a lot of money for a refurbished product that you have to go out and purchase accessories for, before you can use them. I purchased 6 for the guys in my shop. Not one had a charging cord 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not what I expected from a Beats/Apple product.

I have heard that Beats is a great product for headsets, and Apple as well, so a headset designed by both companies should be great, right? this set, however, really disappointed me. The sound is great for listening to music and calls, however, when on a call people can hear pretty much anything around me except me, and every now and then I can hear a static/scraping sound when the headset is touching my collar or rubbing on my neck when I am on the phone which "drowns" the person I am talking to. Also, if the set slides to the side when on the phone people cant hear me due to the mic being relocated a bit, apparently enough for it to useless, so the neck cord needs to be centered on your neck when on the phone. Battery life though is about 12h which is normally my one feature I am looking at when buying a headset, I need the battery life, but I do use this a lot for phone calls being very active when working outdoors I can not have a headset that cant be used for calls so I can not recommend this for this purpose. It also doesn't have any IP - Ingress Protection Code (water resistant rating) so using it outdoors when it rains, being active and sweat or washing a car etc, is a risk. If you are looking for earbuds for listening to music, sure, go ahead and try these out, for the price you get good listening hours and sound, but for phone calls, keep looking.

Microphone for talking on the phone is horrible

I bought these for my girlfriend and whenever we talk on the phone she has to hold the mic up to her mouth. Whenever the mic brushes against something (hair, clothes, pillows) it makes an unpleasant noise over the phone.

Sound good.......just not loud enough

My first pair of Beats. They are overall an acceptable headset, but batter life is a little weak and they could be louder (I turned off the iPhone safety settings, no luck). Not a bad purchase but needs a little work

Don’t buy 🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank God… As a Prime member. I got to keep this. What a hot mess piece of garbage. 🗑From Apple to this. Low budget. 👎🏽

Poor battery

I honestly don't recommend this. Noise cancellation and sound quality is fine, but only battery lasts a couple of hours. I have some TECNO earbuds that last almost 3 days without recharging. I have to recharge my Beats Flex everyday.

Kinda Disappointing

I usually keep my headphone purchases in the $25 - $30, because I am guilty of losing things. Case in point, I lost a pair on Friday night and hopped on Amazon the next day to buy a new pair. These were recommended as a slightly nicer, slightly pricier version of what I usually get so I figured what the heck! The cord on these is unbelievably long and clunky. I prefer the neckband design for wireless earbuds (again I lose things) but there is so much excess wiring. I would have fared better with wired headphones. This model also touts an Apple W1 chip with magnetic auto play and pause. The magnet does trigger an auto pause, but if the buds are magnetically connected any longer than 15 seconds they don’t auto play when disconnected. Having to push play manually would not be an issue if it didn't take so long to find the button on the obscenely long neck band. I also took a few calls and music did not resume after I hung up. I have never had a Bluetooth device where this was a problem. These headphones are markedly worse than your premium beats or airpods (naturally), but I am disappointed to say the experience is worse than a pair of Anker's or something you can get for 30 bucks cheaper. Will probably hold onto them as a back up pair (I lose things), but I've had them for just over 24 hours and I am seeking out a new pair. Update: I bought a pair of AirPods. Auto play/pause is still only a 15 second feature, but tapping the pod makes things much more streamlined and the sound is better. The cord is the primary issue with these phones. I would still go high end model or low end. This middle ground price doesn’t give bang for buck.

TOO LONG OF A CORD!!

I like beats, but I feel it's completely crappy of them not include some type of little pouch for these earbuds to go in while not in use. I purchased the very first version of these earbuds when they first came out many years ago, and they feel like to me they are made out of cheaper materials. Same with the first version, the cord on these are way too long!! BEATS, PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION ON NEXT VERSION!! please make cord a little shorter in length. When wearing 1 bud in my ear and still having the cord wrapped around my neck, the other end of the earbud reaches down to my belly button. 😏 I personally don't care for the 1.5" control boxes (volume control/ power button) on each side of the neck. Makes the cord hard to maneuver. Most likely I will send these back... Sometimes when you turn the earbuds on, they do not make any noise to alert you that they're on until you press "connect" on your phone/iPad. Wish they would automatically connect without me having to press connect each and every time. 😕 wish the outlet where you charge them had some type of cover on close it up so junk didn't get inside there while in your purse/pocket.
