Sounds great, but they're very pushy!

The sound quality on these is fantastic. Battery life so far seems to be solid. My only complaint is that when I go from work to my truck the Beats headphones refuse to shut off no matter how many different ways I press the power button. I had to go into the bluetooth menu on my phone and disconnect beats and manually connect to the truck. Get on the highway and Beats decided to reinstate itself as my current device and overrode my truck, so now I'm on the highway trying to get my music back on my truck speakers with the beats notification constantly popping up "you want beats right, not the truck. the beats! YOU WANT THE BEATS! TAKE THE BEATS BEEEAAAAATS!!!" to the point I was forced to make my phone forget the beats connection so I could listen to music again. Other than that they're great. Maybe it's just because it's a new device to me and I'm doing something wrong, or maybe it's because I'm an Android not an Apple. Either way, settle down beats, I'll let you know when I want you. Edit: added a star because apparently pressing the power button for more than one second does not power off the headphones, but pressing the button for less than one second what does not power off the headphones. One second and one second only shall be the time to press the button to power off the headphones. No more. No less.

Great. But always trying to connect to devices

I love these especially at $50. They are very good and much less likely to be lost versus AirPods. But have to lose a star because they are constantly trying to connect to every device around.

Good product, but not great

For the price it's a good set of headphones for anyone particularly mobile. They magneticly attach to each other and pause the music when this happens. Only downside I they never turn off if you don't hold down the mildly uncomfortable button which is placed in a weird position. Maybe my thumb is too big. You can hear the chord shuffling around in your ear sometimes if the music isnt loud enough to cover it up. The microphone does good work at picking up your voice during calls and the play/pause button can be pretty flimsy sometimes and requires re-inputs at times. Also "hey Google" doesn't work on these. Not much bass to them but the battery life is great when you remember to manually turn them off. Also the buds are not that comfortable in the ear. Overall, it's a good day to day earphones 🎧

Enough things done right, some more than other Beats

Since Beats is owned by apple, its typical to see them put lightning ports on their devices. The BIG reason many of you should consider picking up these is that they charge with USB-C, which more products use. Since 2017, USB-C has been showing up in more apple gear, and because of customers voting with their dollar, more products like this are being created. If you decide to buy this product to send apple the message "Please use USB-C over proprietary nonsense", then please know the things that you will be missing out on: - W1 does not support the latest bluetooth standards, so connection quality and distance are not as impressive as the H1 chips. (the biggest drawback). This also affects how quickly you can change the headphones to another paired device. - No true waterproofing. While I've used it in humidity and exposed it to some splashing, its hard to feel comfortable testing it further with the gaping port. The biggest reasons (other than USB-C) to purchase: + Not too expensive + Light and small + partially stiff band lays nicely on back of neck (as long as you don't mess it up)

Great sound

I like these, they sound good and aren't in the way. Great for walking around and maybe a light jog. If you're doing any type of strenuous workout I would suggest something else. These have a tendency to fall or move awkwardly if you're doing something like sit up or running in my opinion. Still sounds good though.

Nice inexpensive earbuds

Overall these are decent. Easy connection to my iPhone, sound is good. If I had one complaint, it’s that they aren’t very loud ( in my fifties and ears aren’t as good as they use to be.)

Very good for every day use

I use these virtually every day. Excellent battery life. Not a perfect fit for my ears but good enough. Very good value for the price.

Worth the money

It works well with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I use it from time to time with my work phone which is an Iphone 6.

Convenient but could work on sound quality

Sound quality could be better. But I like the convenience of wearing it around my neck when not in use as I have lost 2 AirPods already.

No charging adapter!

I was dissatisfied that there was no adapter for the charging cord, and the charging cord is not a regular USB. It is a USB-C, something I wasn’t familiar with. But I did find a $10 cord at Walmart to make it work. I have also had trouble downloading the app for beats.
