so far, so good

I really like these headphones but I wish they had a case. I don't like that they are in my purse and can be easily lost if I shift stuff around.

Good product, good value

I provided these to an employee who sends the following report: "The ease-of-use, performance, and price are very good. Moving from an old, dead iPhone6 to a new 12 Mini I was not able to bring along the 3 year old but still servicable $15 Sony earbud headset. They were adequate and low-cost and I'd still use them if there was a port on the Mini. So began looking for replacement and liked the idea of the Beats Flex but was concerned by the reviews complaining about sound quality, comfort, mic background interference, control convenience, and lack of a charger (!?). I found none of those to be true and glad I got the Flex. 1. Sound quality: Flex is quite adequate. (I'm comparing to my $350 Beats Studio 3). 2. Comfort: Flex is so much more comfortable than the head-vise Studio 3, which I still use for critical listening of music. The important thing to me is that Flex is so comfortable I can wear all day during high-volume phone sessions, or listen to music while working on a spreadsheet; Incoming calls and messages are recognized and notifications interrupt the music. Soft ear pieces work for me, in-ear loops and expensive ear buds do not. 3. Mic background noise: This worried me the most so the first thing I did was place and receive business calls to a confidant who would be frank. She reported that the Flex sound quality to her was better than my other headsets, even while I was riding the exercise bike .... 4. Control convenience: These seem fine to me. 5. 'Lack of a charger': Really? There are several ways to accomplish charging so I can understand Beats just providing a cord and letting the customer do the charging however they want. It pays to read "What's in the box" so you know what else you might need."

They are Ok. Good sound just having a hard time connecting with them every time.

I purchased these a few months ago, as per the sound quality they are good nothing extraordinary but good quality sound, good base punch, as per the battery life that is actually great, I have never been able to fully drain the battery and I use them for hours at the time on a day. Now, connecting this to my cell is a different story, this is actually difficult, sometimes it will connect as soon as I turn them on but other times I have to actually manually connect it. The on/off button is hard to feel and needs to be pressed for a few seconds to turn them on, I just don't like how is hard to differentiate the right from the left side. But to be honest I would buy them again even knowing what I know now.

Pretty good. I kept it and am using it.

This seems like a sturdy set of phones. It's comfortable and I find it easy to use. They pair well and quickly with my iPhone 6 which has a fairly up-to-date OS. The sound quality isn't as deep or full for music as I'd expected from Beats. That's the most disappointing thing with these. However, I use them more for audio books, so they're fine for that. It is clear sound. As in other reviews, I was ticked off that it didn't come with a charging cord that would plug into USB type A. The cord that came with the phones is type C to type C. They're way ahead of the curve on that one. The batteries don't last as long as I like. I can't easily find a way to monitor battery charge on my phone. I primarily use these for commuting on the train. They cancel noise well on the train, and I find I am wearing them just as earplugs on the boarding platform to ease the pain of the loud PA system and arriving train. I don't use them much for phone calls but when I do, folks on the other line say the sound quality is good. I bought these instead of the cordless buds because I know for sure I'd lose one of those in days.

I wanted to give it 5 stars but...

I bought these 11/2021 for $50. No included box/plug to charge, and one time recently I did Zoom call on MacBook and when I listen to music the sound cuts in and out once in a while. Not often, but definitely multiple times. Maybe battery was low? However...these are DURABLE! I don't suggest it, but I accidentally had these in a zipped up pocket of a hoodie...it was washed AND dried in the dryer. I thought they were broken...just waited to a few days for them to dry out(?), charged them up, and they sound like new! Phew!!

Controls Keep it From 5-star

Generally a really good product. However it took some getting used to turning it on and off holding the button down for a full five seconds. It also will tend to connect or disconnect randomly but not to the extent of other inferior Bluetooth devices

Works great..

So I bought these because I started doing some construction again and needed something that would be rugged and not cost a fortune. These were only meant to listen to music while working and it does that great, doesn’t get in the way or get caught on anything really. Con: if you use the phone function while in any kind of noise the other side hears all background noise.

Android and Apple device review

I rated a 4 for noise cancelation and sound quality because there's a huge difference between Android devices and Apple. They play very loud and cancels all noise in Android devices. Music is loud, even my dog can hear it when they're in my ears as well as people sitting next to me. Calls not so much. The person on the other end can hear everything including background noises clear. Apple devices the volume is so low I can hear people talking around me even if the volume is on max. Depending on the song playing will determine how much of the bass and treble you'll hear. Easy to use and pair. I've worn them in the rain with no problem. The almost deal breakers are the charger. I couldn't find a charger to charge it. Luckily my bf had one. The charger that comes with it is a lightning speed charger that's supposed to charge in 10 minutes but the one I use takes an hour and a 15 minutes to fully charge. The ear buds have very strong magnets and they attach to everything magneticif I bend down and my earrings flip up. They even attached to my underwire bra through my shirt. 😂 Summary: best used for Android devices you'll be disappointed using it for an Apple device.
