We got these as wedding presents and after two months of pretty heavy use, they have held up very well, and as far as plain white dishes go, they are very modern and stylish. They go well with everything else we have. As the first reviewer noted, they do seem very sturdy and I think they were set at a pretty good price. I'm planning on getting more plates and bowls in this set.

Love this set - normally sets come with dainty bowls and cups/saucers; but, these bowls and mugs are very large. If you love coffee and cereal bowls, this is perfect.

I love this dinnerware!!! I purchased these in store and have been really happy with this set. The simplicity is what attracted me. They are not too heavy and not too light. All are such a perfect size. Including the coffee cups. We need to handwash and not use the dishwasher. Therefore extending it's lifespan. Which ofcoarse is the problem for bad reviews. Don't let the bad comments sway you from buying these.

I received these dishes as a shower gift and I love them! I fell in love with simple white dishes when I worked for a family that owned all crate and barrel dishes. I think these are just as great for the price. These dishes have been used very often for the last six months and still look great. We even put them in the dishwasher despite other reviews. We have an awesome dishwasher though so maybe that makes the difference.

The sixteen piece dinnerware is very durable yet elegant.

This is the perfect neutral, basic, modern crockery set for everyday household meals. It looks clean, simple, and modern, and feels nice and heavy to the touch.
