This is the 2nd set of these I've bought, so I really like these stands. Like everything, after CONSTANT use, (over a few years!) the angling 'click&hold' for off-center positioning the rear brace, wears out. However, the vertical and horizontal "hold" at any degree brace arm still keeps it doing its basic steady, upright platform function. Hey, nothing lasts forever and this is such a good stand I'm buying 2 more, and will buy yet again when they wear out!
