Only Stayed Up For A Week Then It Was No Longer Sticky Other Than Thats Its Good

In the beginning i had no complaints other than having to pay for a subscription if you want all access to the cameras abilities. You can still use it just as a motion detection camera. It takes little snippets. Quality isn’t terrible, and it was great. I bought it in april of this year, but now as others have complained - it’s starting to glitch. It also falsely goes off because of the glitch. seems as if it is definitely not a long term camera and is a little slow with getting snapshots.

Ok! I really wanted to like this product considering the price was reasonable. But after having continuous problems with this product I will not recommend. The first one I received just stopped working after 2 months stop showing photos etc so I called Kangaroo's customer service they were quick to replace it (great) after receiving the second unit it continuously reads low battery I have replaced the batteries every week with top brand batteries. This product drains batteries & also quickly malfunction

Camera photo at night is blurry and dark. That is even with and without lights. Gives good pics during the day but you can’t tell if someone is there or not.

use to see things in front if my house and to the street..good during the day but once it gets dark its of no use

Uses batteries quickly. Only a few images each time. Only has 24 hours storage unless you pay, which really sucks. Only lasts about 6 months, then I had to buy a replacement. Tree shadows in the wind trigger it all the time, so you get many false alarms. Colors are very faded. My grass looks brown, and a black shirt looks purple. App sometimes comepletly freezes up my phone and forces me to reboot as not one feature functions at all on the phone. Only advantage is the price.

I bought this doorbell as a alternative to the more expensive doorbells we all often see. I was really excited to use it and I felt safer knowing that I had some form of protection after I began to live alone. I’ve had them for a small amount of time now and would like to give my honest opinion. The price point is really nice, it gives access to home monitoring for people who normally can’t afford it. However in my time of usage My doorbell has caught •every single car that has driven by •headlights illuminating my porch •my neighbors standing on their porch. •shadows on the ground •a tree moving across the street. And it alerts me for all of these things. What it hasn’t caught: •any human being who has walked onto my porch for less than 3-4 min. All in all this product is more annoying than it is helpful on the video monitoring portion. I would say it’s more useful for just the fact of being a doorbell.
