I’ve had a chance to use the vacuum for about two weeks now. It gets stuck on tall thresholds (expected). The boundary strips solve that. The suction is adequate and the vacuum seems to adjust the power automatically for high traffic areas. I have a thin throw rug in the kitchen, and the vacuum seems to push it and bunch it up creating a barrier. I just remove it from the area, and it seems to clean the hard floor just as well as the carpets. It navigates between rooms going from carpet to hard floors with ease. And it seems to remember where the charging station is located, even when it’s three rooms away. The catch tray seems to be of adequate size for a one hour cleaning cycle. The remote comes in handy and has decent range and functionality. It does interface with my router, but only on the 2.4Ghz band, and the functionality with my app seems to be responsive. This is a good addition for a daily or every other day cleaning, but don’t get rid of your full size hepa vacuum. I have not used it at the top of my stairs yet, and I haven’t scheduled it for an unattended cleaning. Will post an update when I have more information.
We have 3 cats and hardwood floors with some low area rugs. I bought this robot to live in our bedroom. Before running it the first time, I vacuumed manually, and then I let Eufy run. The dustbin was completely full of hair and dirt, OMG. I've been running it every day for 2 weeks and our bedroom floor is astonishingly clean. It picks up a good clump of cat hair every day.The unit is also pretty quiet! I have a robot from another brand that's much louder. The Eufy Android app works well, as does the Alexa integration. It's a simple, one-step command with Alexa. We have a power strip under our TV stand, and the robot does respect the magnetic strip we put in front to block it off. Bonus: this robot has trained its human to pick up everything on the floor every day, lol.My only minor complaints are that sometimes it gets stuck over a vent because it thinks it's going to fall down the stairs, and that it seemed to want to spend an inordinate amount of time in our open, walk-in closet rather than the rest of the bedroom. I just block off the closet with laundry baskets most days and that takes care of it.I'm a busy person and I don't love vacuuming. Now I get to have clean floors anyway!
I bought my first Eufy Robovac in2019. it was very easy to install, works great and works quietly. it can handle very good extra hair from my dog and cat on a daily basis. few weeks ago i had a 4 beep problem, i got in touch with Eufy support and received a first class treat. i bought this item in the US and i live overseas, still the support guy said he will be sending me a new battery which will resolve the issue. this was during the COVID19 spring pandemic so the local post office was working real slow. the support guy was in touch with me during weeks making sure i receive the package. it turned out that the package was miss handled at the local post office and shipped back to the sender. sure enough the support guy said he will send me a new battery (with no extra charge). after few days, mysteriously, i received the old package with the battery. my support guy was very happy and generous enough to let keep the second package which on its way to my home address. so i will end up with another extra new battery. i included all this info just to express my appreciation to this specific support person and the brand itself!!!! kudos!!! this is how you keep a good reputation! and satisfied clients.
I have been an Eufy customer for many years, I purchased this vac in 2022. It wasn't vacuuming properly. Then Anker replaced it promptly. Very good machine if you have pets. then several months later, the replacement wasn't picking up dog hairs, here again, Anker sent me another replacement. This one is working beautifully. We are very happy with This Eufy or any others we've had before. It is fairly simple to operate and it does the JOB.
This vacuum is as described. We had a RoboVac 30 before and it lasted 3 years with lots of TLC. It was a great everyday vacuum for the price and got the job done - maintenance! We have birds that make a huge mess and it helps clean up the food, feathers, and debris.This new model has excellent suction and works great, just like the previous model. We opted not to use the wifi function due to other people's comments.You do have to RoboVac-proof your house... pick up your floors, put things away, provide ways for it to enter and exit rooms. It's not perfect. But for the money, you save a ton of cash over the more expensive brand and get better cleaning. Plus this roomba doesn't scrape up furniture, doors, or baseboards like the $900 irobot we used to have! Love it.You need to dump out the bin daily, check the wheels and brushes for hair and buildup, and wipe it down and clean it, check the filter and change monthly. If you take care of your Eufy it will work wonderfully for years!
I never write reviews, but this has been a LIFECHANGER! Since getting our RoboVac (lovingly named Rosie), I have dirt and hair free floors. It picks up the dirt that my 80 lb. and 100 lb. dogs track inside, plus all of their hair, and makes it easy to keep my floors clean for my 1 year old who is still in the put everything in her mouth phase. I was skeptical about this, but seriously love having made the decision to purchase this. Loves: Price point/quality is well matched, you can program it to run at a designated hour every day, and even vary it depending on the day, it’s quiet enough that it doesn’t bother me to be in same room while it’s running, the app is easy to use and allows you to control the vac from your phone while also sending you notifications if your little vac gets into trouble or is lost, the remote that comes with the vac is also easy to use and has several different suction modes. It’s also pretty sleek and easy to clean, and battery lasts for about an hour before needing to redock to charge. My only dislikes: you can only program it to run once a day (my floors could benefit from at least twice a day because of before-mentioned dogs and toddler), and it doesn’t make you breakfast or cocktails. That said, I highly recommend this RoboVac! It might not pour you a glass of wine, but at least you’ll be able to enjoy one and have clean floors at the end of the day! Love my little Rosie!
