Good for one summwe

Loved this umbrella and for the price I guess it wasn’t bad, but now in the second summer we’ve had it, and the color is horribly faded and the lights barely work for 5 minutes after turning them on. We stored it for the winter and have taken good care of it. It was nice for one season but I wouldn’t expect much more than that out of it.

No I will not buy it again unless the set is complete

In the picture, I can see the base for the Umbrella and that's all I saw when I ordered it. I am very disappointed and misled. I do not have extra money to buy a base I am in SSI income. After I got it I was wondered where is the base so I went back and in one picture, it said no base. I do not like that at all. Before this, I bought a few things and I was very happy. Next time I will think about it.

I would not recommend

Nice and sturdy led lights works perfectly fine. Unfortunately my umbrella faded do not leave in direct sunlight when not in use to preserve color

Excellent customer service!

My first umbrella arrived clearly defective. When I notified BCP they quickly responded and sent a replacement. Which is also defective. However I love the color and size of the umbrella just sad that the solar power will not work. That being said, I have to commend the customer service department. The communication was remarkable. The resolution was speedy satisfactory. Umbrella was perfect for a day.

tilt feature not recommended!

With the exception of the tilt feature, everything else about this umbrella is great so far. Next time we will not opt for a tilt because unfortunately it results in the entire unit being much less sturdy than it otherwise would be. Once the tilt locking mechanism broke with a light breeze, the whole umbrella was compromised. Now we cannot reinforce that section (the tilt) without being unable to lower or raise the umbrella.

Bad Quality

The umbrella itself it beautiful, the lights are pretty bright and it works well ... however the quality isn’t the best. We received our umbrella without a solar panel and when I wrote them about sending it so we could get the lights on they ended up sending a whole new umbrella so we ended up with two. Neither of these lasted us longer than two months. The first snapped in half first while we were sitting outside at the table so we used the second as a backup thinking maybe it was just a faulty umbrella... then a few weeks later the second snapped as well. It was somewhat windy but not windy enough to snap the umbrella, our previous( different brand) lasted 10years before it broke and it broke during a thunderstorm so I’m caulking it up to just bad quality. I did give them 3 stars because they were nice enough to send a replacement when my first didn’t have the solar panel.. but I didn’t bother asking for a replacement after they both broke. I’ll buy a different brand this time around.

Can't Get Spare/Replacement Parts!

I would have to VERY STRONGLY advise folks to avoid any product from Best Choice Products. Why? Because you can't get any spare or replacement parts from them. I bought one of their cantilevered patio umbrellas with a small solar panel on top, which powers LED lights underneath. Over the winter, the solar panel became detached and broke. I contacted Best Choice Products to ask about getting a replacement part. I was NOT asking for it free, under their 60-day warranty. I was fully prepared to pay for the part. Once they established that my umbrella was no longer under warranty, they basically told me they couldn't help me. They said they do not sell replacement parts for ANY of their products. I asked if they could at least provide the part number for the solar panel, and/or a third-party source where I might be able to purchase the part. They said they do not keep any information like that, because they "do not source the parts individually." So just be aware that if anything breaks on a BCP product outside of the warranty period, you're totally on your own!

It doesn't come with a tie to wrap up the umbrella. I would've never bought it if I knew that.
