In this cooperative board game of action and adventure, there are no traditional turns. Easy to learn and fun cooperative game that doesn’t last too long! The ability to select different characters and rearrange the board makes this game fun to play over and over. Hope they add more characters with expansion packs! A few things could’ve been clearer in the directions and setup video, but we figured it out.

Instead of fighting against each other, players work together as light guardians to battle the encroaching darkness. This fosters communication, encourages collaborative problem-solving, and eliminates the usual frustrations of competitive games. The game’s theme is captivating. Players are tasked with collecting light shards and working to restore the light to the land before it's consumed by darkness. This narrative element keeps everyone invested and makes the gameplay feel more meaningful than just moving pieces on a board. The board is beautifully illustrated, the tokens are sturdy, and the artwork is vibrant and engaging. This contributes to an immersive and enjoyable playing experience. While it’s designed for families, ‘Chronicles of Light’ can be quite challenging, even for experienced gamers. 'Chronicles of Light is a fantastic beautiful board game that perfectly blends family fun with strategic thinking. I recommend it!
